Place is very clean and comfortable. Visiting Seattle from a week camping on the Olympic peninsula my husband and I chose this hotel because of its price and we were not disappointed. It was almost $100/night cheaper than other hotels in Seattle. I've never slept so well in a hotel before. It was quiet, had free parking, and was very...

It's your only hotel choice in West Seattle (my grandkid lives there). It's an old 1960s hotel with modern updates. Not fancy but very clean, comfortable and great location. It ran us $130 per night for two, including fresh fruit and Greek yogurt & Coffee for breakfast. It's a close drive to Alki to take the water Taxi to Seattle....

The rooms at the Grove are compact, but are nicely updated with trendy decor. I found the rooms very clean and beds were comfortable. Coffee maker, refrigerator, spacious bathroom and no old-fashioned bed spreads--large flat screen TV too. I think breakfast is pretty ordinary, but most people probably walk to restaurants. The only complaint I have is that the traffic...

We booked this hotel based on the reviews and pretty much because downtown hotels were completely booked. Such a nice surprise and so glad to have found this sweet little gem in west Seattle. Great neighborhood to walk to store and restaurants. Easy access to downtown via car, bus or water taxi pick up which are right across the street....

"The Grove" is only around 5 minutes from our son's home, so it's a great convenience. We used to stay at his home, but since they have been renovating, "The Grove" is our "home away from home". We always stay there when we're in Seattle (twice each year) - usually in April and August. The rooms are always clean and...

This is a great little motel secret, we love visiting Seattle and were excited to find the Grove. Its an extra 10 min drive from dwntn Seattle but the cost is half if not cheaper! The staff I dealt with both over the phone and in person were informative and friendly. There is a bus stop 4 mins away (walking)...

The location of this property is the Ace card for those using public transit who don't want to end up paying $250+ a night for downtown. This hotel can be reached from 3rd Avenue downtown via a 10 minute ride on the "C" RapidRide line and a two block walk. Several other bus lines stop directly in front of the...

First of all, the beautiful lady (Mary Lyn) that checked my Husband and I in, was extremely professional as well as impeccable. She does her job well. Her personal appearance and presentation (takes care of business & friendly) shows that she is clearly a valuable employee. Our room was clean & comfortable and the room service very accommodating to our...
