The Grove was a clean motel with comfortable beds and a good sized room. The rooms on Alaska street are noisy during the day but quiet during the night. A modest and basic continental breakfast is available. Cab fare to downtown runs around $20 bucks. West Seattle is a very nice location and if you drive up Alaska Street to... More

My husband, and son and I stayed here and enjoyed the service. They allowed us to check in a little early son we could freshen up. The breakfast was great! We were within biking distance to the main street in W.Seattle and the ferry that took us downtown. We loved it!

Very nice, affordable accommodation. Excellent, helpful staff. Nice rooms with all amenities. Good central location close to restaurants, charming little downtown area, and spectacular Alki Beach. Only real sandy beach in the Seattle area.Continental breakfast included. Good for families.

We spent 2 nights. Check in was fast and easy. Really appreciated we were able to check in early! Our room was on the second floor. Clean and functional. Sink and mirror is outside the bathroom which made getting ready easier. Bed is definitely firmer, which I like. Needed extra towels in the evening, just went downstairs to the reception... More

Wonderful hotel in West Seattle and completely met all of our needs. Property is clean and up to date. Be prepared for sound of street traffic. Really liked the breakfast and the greek yogurt selection and coffee. Nice staff and clean hotel ~ can't wait to stay again!

Seattle ain't cheap. So when trying to keep a 23 day west coast swing from breaking the bank this popped up on TA. Staff were courteous and welcoming, the layout is straightforward old school motor hotel. Nicely reno-ed, clean...though a tic smaller than standard rooms. Who cares, place to sleep right? Beds were super comfy. Night time was great, quiet... More

This hotel is out of town in west seattle but the C bus runs from outside the hotel to downtown and is very easy and regular to use. The hotel is clean and comfy and is well maintained. The only problem we had was we were on the bottom floor and the people in the room above must of slept... More

I can't ask for any more considering the price I paid. The area around the Motel is mostly industrial, but if you walk four or five blocks there is a very trendy street with lost of shops and restaurants. Good service at the front desk, i found a parking spot right outside of the room. The room was on the... More

This is our final hotel and the end of our roadtrip. We are very glad we stayed here. We found the hotel via Tripadvisor with very good reviews (and can't agree with the 'bad' reviews). The staff is extreme friendly and helpful. The renovated hotel is clean, is up to the modern standards and very complete. The breakfast is good,... More

We love West Seattle and I was thrilled when I came across this highly rated hotel. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly. We booked a queen room and it was very small. We were only staying one night, so it was fine, however if we had a longer stay, I'd probably book somewhere else or inquire if... More
