I didn't actually stay at The Grove, but I'm reviewing it anyway. A local nonprofit was having an event nearby and anticipated needing the room. Plans changed and the room was no longer needed, but we missed the cancellation deadline by a couple of hours....More
Fair-priced motel in west Seattle. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Continental breakfast was below average (fruit salad not the freshest). A car or public transportation is necessary to get to any site-seeing areas or ballparks.
This is a very basic no frills hotel, which was fine because that's all we needed this trip. However, for the $140+ price tag it is expensive. The rooms are clean but very tired. Stained carpets, black stained shower tiles grout, scratched up toilets and...More

Thank you for considering The Grove for your lodging needs while in Seattle. The public transportation from the airport id the light rail system that takes you to downtown Seattle's King Street Station. You would then have to take a taxi or a bus to make the final 4 miles to the Inn. The other options are taxi, UBER or a service called Shuttle Express. Taxi's will run about 40.00-50.00 depending on traffic. Shuttle Express is a little bit less expensive because it is a flat rate. You can contact them online if interested. Thank you for considering The Grove for your lodging choice while in the Seattle area.
We are about 4 miles from the King Street Station. It is an easy cab or Uber ride to get here. The cost should be in the $20 range.
