Outstanding experience in every way. Check-in was fast and simple, I was advised of the Starbucks in house and they provided me with directions to a local attraction that I had inquired about. Throughout my stay I heard zero noise, it was calm and professional. It matched exactly what I've come to know a Hyatt experience to be like, which is second to none, always better than the competition.

The Grand Hyatt is a classy and stylish hotel in downtown Seattle within easy walking distance downhill to Pike Place Market and immediately adjacent to the convention center. Other than lacking a view of the Space Needle, our room looked like a set from the TV series Fraser. Beautiful wooden doors complemented the muted tones of the walls dotted by tasteful art prints. The huge marble bathroom is amazing. It includes a spacious glass shower that somehow does not fog the mirrors, double sinks, and a deep soaking tub featuring a faucet that pours out water like a mountain cascade. We appreciated the black-out curtains and did not hear any street noise from our 24th floor room. Perfect if you are recovering from a long flight. Ruth Chris's Steakhouse serves as both the lobby bar and the hotel restaurant. They open for dinner at 4pm, but there is a full-sided Starbucks attached to the hotel for your morning caffeine and pastries. Valet parking is $55/day. Self-parking is $37/day. Downtown Seattle is filled with people of all descriptions including some homeless, drug addicts, and the mentally ill. We felt perfectly safe walking during the day, but used taxis and Uber to get around at night.

We stayed here last week to celebrate an anniversary. The property was fine but the services available were quite disapointing. No breakfast restaurant, room service quoted wait times of 90+ minutes. I get that the work market is tough and hiring staff is a challenge. I would have appreciated knowing all of this well in advance.

Very helpful staff - front desk, valet, bellmen, room service, housekeeping - all very accommodating. Excellent location close to local attractions. Beautifully appointed throughout with nice size rooms.
