This hotel lived exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend for business travelers to the area. WiFi was perfect and fast. Our upgrade was on the 26th floor with a great view of the sound and city below. Staff were quick to fulfill every request and even welcomed us with a bottle of white wine on ice (good quality) and chocolate covered cherries (great gift). We got the signature perk package through our travel agent (Luxury link) with breakfast and $50 credit we used at the elaia spa for my daughters 18th birthday. We chose a Hyatt because that is my daughters name and she had always wanted to stay at one. I was able to book the spa appointment within 24 hours. The spa is located a short walk to the Hyatt olive 8 but that wasn’t an issue for us at all. She had a gel mani/pedi and 60 min massage that really relaxed her. Everyone was kind, helpful and treated her with respect. It’s quiet and relaxing but the facilities were limited with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and small pool (rare in Seattle). Inside the Grand Hyatt also has an amazing eucalyptus steam room, a sauna, super hot jacuzzi surrounded by natural stone that is inviting and clean just through the state of the art fitness room. The huge fitness room had pelotons and every other equipment you may need as well as eucalyptus scented cold towels and delicious water. 99% walkability rating with everything close by and a very safe area with no homeless was nice to see in Seattle. I highly recommend this hotel! The bathrooms were also amazing and great for couples! The glass enclosed two head shower was perfect to share with my partner. And the bathtub fit both of us in it at just a very slight squeeze it was so big and surrounded with marble. The Ruth Chris Steakhouse was sublime. We had happy hour there while my daughter went shopping and both of our steaks were better then the local Metropolitan grill where we paid $500 the night before. Literally melted in our mouths and is now a new favorite in Seattle. My only negative observation is that the hotel may need an interior update soon. The elevators were well used and the decor could be a bit more luxurious but honestly I have stayed at hotels all over Seattle and the quality and service you get at the Hyatt can’t be beat especially for families visiting or business trips. Or just a relaxing weekend away.

The Grand Hyatt in Seattle is a clean, safe, friendly and very well-appointed home away from home. The staff take care of guests as they would long lost family member; the lobby and rooms are upscale, spacious and extremely clean.

Me and my wife stayed with our 5 month old and 16 year old sister. We were in the city for the Kraken game and the location of the hotel was great to catch the monorail straight over to the game. The amenities were good, I would suggest bringing your own pillow, unless you like thin pillows. Room service food was good not great.

When it comes to location this hotel is in the best location. You don't want to stay too close to Pike Place Market because when the market is closed (at 5 p.m.), there's really no place safe to go around although there were less homeless and drug addicts during the holidays. This hotel is only half a mile walk from Pike Place Market, across from Pacific Place Mall. Nordstrom and Westlake Mall are nearby too. Macy's was completely closed and boarded up. Not sure if and when it's going to re-open. Many restaurants nearby. Din Tai Fung (a dumpling/noodle place) and Pike Place chowder are inside the Pacific Place Mall. Cheesecake Factory is just around the corner. Dough Zone (another dumpling/noodle place) is only steps away. We used to stay at the Fairmont. Even though the room is nicer (but a lot smaller), we had to walk far to find food. Because of the pandemic, it's in room dining only. Every morning we had our breakfast delivered to our room. We enjoyed it a lot despite of limited menu for breakfast. We tried it all and they were very good. The standard room at 380 square feet is spacious. The bathroom is half of that and it has separate bathtub and shower which is a plus for a long stay. The closet with its double door has plenty of hangers. There's an extra place (next to the TV cabinet ) to place our luggage in addition to a luggage rack. As a couple we're always short of luggage rack as most hotels normally give you only one in the room. Microwave was delivered (upon request) within minutes. There's a small refrigerator, bottled water, coffee maker, safe deposit box, slippers, robes, iron and ironing board, extra pillow and blanket. The room is not cleaned daily due the pandemic. It's not an issue for us. We just called and set up the time for our room to be cleaned. It actually worked better for us because we knew exactly when the room would be cleaned. It snowed for a few days prior to our departure. Originally we planned on taking a light rail which is only a couple of blocks away. We decided to take Lyft instead because the sidewalks were super slippery. Overall it's a very pleasant 14 night stay. Service was very good and everyone was friendly and helpful. Will stay here again for sure next time we come to Seattle.
