Unlike other Hyatt hotels, our room was more expensive ($180/night) and much less convenient. Closet is too small, no hooks for coats, single chair for two people, disproportionally wide door to bathroom, a mirror is located far from entrance/exit. Mattress definitely requires replacement. Breakfast is mediocre. Coffee machine is partially disassembled and can't be used. Iron is available. On positive side. 10-min walk to Whole Foods store and several cafes nearby. 15-20 min walk to boardwalk, 30-min walk to the center, 5-min to the Space Needle and good transportation in either direction.
Room was in fair (below average shape) with filthy bath fan vent, damaged finish on bath door, and carpet base molding peeling from wall. Then they over billed my buddy even though i stay with these guys 60 nights a year. We were not impressed and you made a poor first impression with my business associate too boot !
Great location, nice hotel, comfortable rooms. Free hot drinks in the lobby were appreciated. We ordered a Mai Tai and an Old Fashioned from the bar too, both very good. Enjoyed our short stay and would be our first choice if we are back in the area.
Spent three nights in this hotel and was very happy with location to space needle, MoPop and Chihuly museums. Security was very good and COVID restrictions are still in place. Rooms are average but the beds are the best I’ve ever slept in! There’s a Walgreens across the street which made it convenient to grab items. Breakfast was to go but had good variety. The staff was very professional and friendly. We had an awesome view of the space needle. Check out the French bakery on 4th street (about 4 blocks away).:Fantastic! Parking for hotel is expensive but secure.
Hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to the space needle, monorail and wholefoods. Olympic park and Kerry park are within jogging distance. The rooms with a space needle view are worth the extra expense.
