I met the General Manager in the elevator by chance. He had a great sense of humor, willing to do whatever to make us happy. Nothing was needed. The room was the cleanest of any hotel I have stayed at!!! Catherine at the Front desk was a pure sweetheart and very helpful and accommodating. Our reservation was saved under our last name first which made it impossible to fine but she kept with it until she found it. Very helpful with a ton of little things never making us feel like a bother. The price of the hotel was cheaper than most in the area that extort us who plan a cruise. We have recommended the Alaskan Cruise to everyone we know!! I also recommend staying at Even hotel without question. Comfortable bed and pillows, Great towels, great service cleanest room ever, super friendly, what more can you ask for! It is also about 3 miles from the dock! We stayed before and after our cruise.

The Even Hotel is about a 30min walk from the Space Needle center or the Pike Place Market. This hotel is fitness friendly, including a yoga mat, yoga block, and foam roller in your room. When my friend booked the room she booked one with a Peloton but it didn’t come in the room and when she called down, they said they were all taken.
The room itself is clean, modern looking, simple. The shower pressure is good, big walk in shower. They don’t clean your room everyday unless you ask them to specifically. If you need refills for toilet paper or towels you call down to the front to request them. The only challenging thing to note is sometimes it is hard to get the Lyft/Uber drivers to pick you up exactly at the hotel. So just be aware of this, sometimes they want you to walk down the street a little because this hotel is located at a big intersection and there’s no real place to stop unless the driver pulls into the driveway where they’d have to go straight underground to exit. I think the hotel itself is fine, I just feel due to the challenge with ride share apps and the proximity to the tourist-y things to do I would book something closer to the pike place market and it would probably save you Lyft/Uber costs and you can put that toward a higher cost hotel.

I visited the EVEN a few days ago, staying 2 nights, on my way back from the PNW. Very spacious and well appointed rooms with super comfortable beds and high end toiletries. I love that they have gotten rid of the small bottles, making them a bit more environmentally conscious than others. The room has a work out space complete with to yoga mats for those interested. The staff is courteous, very friendly and accommodating. My request for late checkout was promptly approved. Housekeeping is top notch as well, keeping the hotel facilities looking spic n span.
Finally, the location for me was perfect. Slightly away from the touristy stuff, located right in the middle of Amazon country, there are plenty of food and coffee options around. Cafe ladro is a block away.
Great value too for an off peak weekend in Seattle.
Would definitely stay here again.

Location is good, but it's a cheap-appearing hotel (lobby, front desk, elevators, room furniture, carpet, everything). Also, my room was not clean enough for my standards. I checked in late in the evening. The bathroom tile floors look gross/brown, and like there's a film on it - makes you wonder when last it was actually scrubbed. There was a hair by the sink. Hotels claim to have COVID precautions, and don't do daily housekeeping anymore. But in that case, then I expect the room to be THOROUGHLY SCRUBBED prior to my arrival. With bleach and all.
Also, the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc are in big communal bottles that should be refilled in the room. The bottles in my room were not full. It really makes you wonder if housekeeping checked the room thoroughly.

Hi EIE01, Thanks for your review and for staying with us. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience. It is very troubling to learn that the cleanliness of the room didn't meet your standards. I have shared your comments with the hotel management and have sent you a private message to obtain additional information about your stay. It might not have been a great stay, but I hope you will give us a second chance in the future. Sincerely, Connie D Case Manager IHGService

The customer service after the stay at this hotel was the worst experience I have had with a hotel. We made a reservation to stay at this hotel for one night through a booking company at a specific rate. This was a deal website. Upon checking out we received a bill for the regular rate. It took four calls to get to any type of resolution. When I asked them to refund the credit card on file and charge the correct amount to a different card, they said that would be fine. The next day they refunded the amount to the correct amount we should have been charged, however they said they can not change the credit card. When I asked why they said they can not do a refund (even though they just did). When I asked why did someone tell me the day prior they would do this, they said they don't know and questioned who I spoke with. Overall awful experience and I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Great hotel experience! Located in a safe and beautiful sort of downtown Seattle, walking distance to Lake Union Park and local breweries. The views from the room are amazing, the big windows allow lots of natural light into the hotel room. The decor and color scheme are very pleasing and calming, and each room offers a workout ball and yoga equipment plus workout channels! Also located on the second floor is an outdoor area to relax, hangout, and eat in for outdoor time. The bed is extremely comfy, I slept like a baby. You need a key card to get access into the hotel so very safe. Complimentary breakfast included, with a market included inside the lobby. Will definitely be staying here again!

This was our first stay at an EVEN Hotel and really enjoyed it. The brand reminds us of Aloft but with a focus on fitness.
The staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful (we received a text to ask how our stay was going!), the room was clean and had a nice design, the fitness equipment and workout area in the room were a great feature, and the bathroom was functional and pleasant ( good water pressure and decent toiletries). The hotel also has a nice well-stocked gym, so no excuses to skip your workout!
There is also a bar that opened in the evening, a restaurant, and an outdoor courtyard that would be lovely in the summer.
The rate we booked included breakfast but on Sunday, the restaurant was closed unexpectedly and we had to have breakfast at the Staybridge Suites next door which was disappointing.
We like this neighbourhood in Seattle as you can easily walk to Pike Place and other things downtown but it's quieter.
We visit Seattle often and would definitely stay here again!

I had to travel to Seattle for medical reasons for my dad. He is on oxygen and uses a wheelchair. When we arrived at our hotel, Tracy (and all other staff) was INCREDIBLY helpful our entire stay. She got us a wheelchair to use during our stay, she got us rooms close to each other, she took time to visit with my dad, and even let us check out a little bit later (per request) because our flight back didn't leave until 8pm. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. Our rooms were clean and it was nice and quiet. 10/10 experience. THANK YOU TRACY for all of your help!! :)

Our stay at the Even Hotel near Lake Union was a very nice one. Right at the bottom of Fairview Avenue at Mercer Street reachable by King County metro bus 70. Initially on arrival the lady at reception allocated me and my wife a 2 bed room which was not what we wanted. Returning to reception with our luggage she instantly found a King room. We noted that though not rude she was not particularly warm on greeting us but I guess she checked us in ok after a random initial exchange.
Our room 700 was very large with as advertised gym equipment to compliment a decent gym downstairs. The bed was very comfortable with large picture windows and great black out curtains. A lovely big shower in a sizeable bathroom with excellent toiletries provided. We had a kuerig in the room for a decent morning coffee. Breakfast for us was at a supplement which we did not take, and the reception area was lovely with lots of seating and a small bar. All staff we met after the initial exchange were super friendly and interested.
Having lived in Seattle previously we were taken with how much South Lake Union has grown with many bars and restaurants. Lake Union itself is around a 5 minute walk with walking/riding trails running around the edge. Also we liked how Seattle was buzzing with tourists throughout, definitely on its way back.

Arrival experience was great. The entrance is clean, has a pleasant smell and courteous staff. They have employees at the counter around the clock. Rooms are comfortable, providing lots of space. Loved the “fitness” theme everywhere in hotel and room.
This hotel is VERY expensive. Food is ok (as we needed to stay in for one evening) but prices are astronomical. Even though you have the “Breakfast Included” option, you are limited to a $30 per room charge and should you exceed this amount, they will charge you for the difference. So if you’re traveling as a couple, you don’t have a great deal of choices as for a decent breakfast, there’s nothing under $20 per person. Furthermore, note this hotel will charge your credit card for gratuities.
In sum, nice hotel, you sleep well … but keep an eye on your wallet.
