Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square garners mixed reactions when it comes to value, with some travelers feeling the costs outweigh the benefits. However, its atmosphere wins compliments for stylish comfort and event convenience. The rooms, praised for being spacious and well-equipped, offer impressive views, though a few guests have raised concerns over cleanliness and lighting.
Its prime location is a highlight, nestled close to attractions and transit. Amenities like the omelet station are a hit, despite calls for greater variety. Service shines at this hotel, with staff earning accolades for their attentiveness.

Hotel's Favorite
Great hotel and very convenient if you are arriving or departing my train. Just across the street from the train station. Also very close to the football and baseball stadiums. Hotel is clean, modern, roomy and very comfortable. Hotel was quite busy the night I was there but the staff was great the whole time and kept things moving. It's not an inexpensive place by any means, but one of the best places I've stayed. I've already got my reservation for next week when I return from a cruise.

+1
This is a high rise hotel right outside the King Street Amtrak Station (the terminus of the Coast Starlight train from Los Angeles). There is also a local train that runs from the airport to the University of Washington Stadium, which stops about a block away, in Chinatown.
I had a corner room on the 19th floor (out of 23). I had a great view of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound. For the superstitious, the hotel did not skip the number 13 in numbering the floors.
The key card is needed to make the elevator go anywhere other than the first floor. It was very temperamental. As nearly as I could figure out, it had to be in physical contact with the receptor on the elevator and outside the room, long enough for the green light to come on. If I moved it too soon, I got nothing.
They advertise "cooked to order" breakfast, which means a buffet with an omelette station. The buffet had the expected selection of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes or french toast, english muffins, bagels, bread & a toaster, fruits, yogurts, juice & coffee. There is also an in room coffee maker.
Complimentary drinks (beer, wine and mixed) and salty snacks are served for 2 hours each evening.
The room was spacious and very comfortable. There was a sink besides the one in the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable.
There is a restaurant (13 Coins) next door that had a connecting door into the hotel. It had a variety of food and drink offerings, not great but not bad.
The Seahawks and Mariners stadiums are located side by side next to the hotel, so this is an excellent place for sports fans to stay.
Parking is something like $50 a night extra, so skip the rental car and take the train from the airport. The station is a bit of a walk, but it's all covered from the rain.
All in all, this is a great place to stay. Nothing bad to report.

An excellent choice in downtown Seattle for families. The hotel is new and the staff are very helpful. The location is great right next door to Century Link Field. The rooms are spacious and although there is no cutlery or dishes in the “kitchen” the front desk was more than happy to send up anything we needed. The kids loved the pool and it has a view over Century Link.

We stayed here for 3 nights.
Pros: Great location, you don't need a car, there is a free shuttle just around the corner, train station is close by. Breakfast is great with omelet station, also manager special with free wine & beer with some foods included every day. We did not see a lot of homeless people around this hotel, but they are present in some location of the Seattle.
Cons: It's a pretty new hotel, but the design in the room got one major flaw - the barn doors, which provides no privacy, extremely heavy to move it around and it's an accident waiting to happen. Another problem is when the cruise guest arriving, next morning breakfast time was extremely busy with even to get a seat was a challenge. This is just a second hotel (first one was in LA, Sherman Oaks area) that you have to use your room key for elevator (not a safe feeling). Front desk was OK, but we have to ask and received some compensation on the check out for the room not being cleaned at all one day. Lastly, its not a cheap hotel you will pay up to $350 per night.

Seattle's Embassy Suites recently remodeled and thought it was a good idea to add sliding doors from the bathroom to living room and bathroom to bedroom. Talking to several employees this has been the number one complaint from customers. Even when the doors are shut there is a two inch opening on both sides. There is no privacy when using the bathroom anytime someone uses the bathroom every noise can be heard from the bedroom and living room area. I should mention there's no lock on the bathroom doors as well!! Furthermore, the closet combining the living room to the bedroom is open when the doors are opened up so you can see in from the bedroom to living room.
Be warned if you want any privacy using the bathroom or residing in the bedroom for that matter the Embassy Suites in Seattle will not offer that luxury.

I don't often review hotels or destinations since I travel often, but since COVID put a stop to most travel, I felt compelled to share a review of some of my favorite places in hopes of keeping their business alive.
Embassy Suites was the first hotel I stayed at post-COVID restrictions and from the moment I pulled up, all hesitations I had about the safety and cleanliness of hotels went right out the window. They have all the safety precautions in place to make travelers feel at ease, from clear social distancing and safety guidelines in public areas, to reassuring and obvious ways they are keeping their guestrooms clean. It was clear that no detail was missed in how they cleaned each room and the public spaces.
On top of the incredible cleanliness, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay feel easy. I had lost my parking ticket, and though the garage is managed by a different company from the hotel, the receptionist went above and beyond by calling the company and helping me sort out my mistake.
There's no other place I'd stay when in Seattle!

This place is absolutely perfect for families and we were seriously impressed with our 3 night stay as a family of 5 recently.
It's modern, very affordable, clean and styled well, has a great pool and hot tub, amazing fitness center, great views of the city and water, a free full breakfast with custom omelets even, free evening alcoholic drinks and snacks, in suite kitchenettes and rooms with separate bedrooms with doors so we could hang out after the kids went to bed without having to get a second room or keep them up. It was everything we were looking for in a place to experience Seattle - and we looked at every possible option. This is the best place for touring families to stay for the money hands down, better than even places 3x the price. We won't stay anywhere else in Seattle from now on, with or without kids.
The service was wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful staff - easy 10/10. We were a total nuisance with towel requests and garbage pickups and everything else that comes with young kids, and the staff were always pleasant and quick to respond.
Great location as well being right near the underground light rail system and easy walking to Pike Place and basically everywhere. We walked to the Space Needle one of the days and it took us a lazy hour or so, but the next day we went there on the light rail and monorail in about 15 minutes. Pike Place and the Aquarium are both about a 20 minute walk, but it's safe and enjoyable and gets you seeing the city.
Even if you're not a family, stop looking at other options for Seattle and just book this place - I'm 100% confident there's no where better in the city for the money.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Seattle with 2 teenagers. Hotel was very clean and up to date with some dining options nearby. A little on the high end of cost, but reasonable for the location.
Walking distance for baseball, soccer or football games. Attached garage (via connected building) is reasonable for the location with in and out privileges, making it easy on families. Automated Milton robot is great for kids.
The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and also had made to order omelets. A lot of families were there while visiting in August.
We enjoyed 13 Coins (attached) for dinner and also Burbs down the street for lunch. One item to note is that a lot of the nearby dining closed due to COVID, so you may need to order out or drive, but not too far

Great location in walking distance to the stadium with lots of restaurants nearby. The cycle path is close as well for a zoom along the waterfront. Christy at the front desk was very helpful with advice on parking as we had some expensive bikes in our van. Every time we passed the desk, the staff there were friendly and asking if we needed anything. The gym is well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed the room and the upgrade to a nice view, and the free happy hour. The breakfast had a lot of healthy choices including yogurt, nuts, dried and fresh fruit, many varieties of breads, an omelet station, and cereals.

My room wasn’t ready at checkin and I waited but wasn’t contacted when it was ready as promised. There were many restrictions on service because of Covid, however all that was required was to call the desk for fresh towels or trash service or pool reservation. But my phone in my room didn’t work. I had to go to the front desk and wait in line for services. They sent an engineer to my room and he was in and out several time and never resolved the problem to my knowledge. The rooms were very clean but there were 2 entrances to the bathroom and both used barndoor type doors. They were not able to be locked and with a family of 5 we had to come up with a system so that privacy was maintained. We ate at the restaurant one night, the prices were high for the level of service we were given. The food was well presented and tasted wonderful, but the cocktails that we ordered were poorly made and tasted bad.

It alternated evenings but the assortment ran: nuts, tortilla chips, salsa, potato chips, popcorn, cheese and crackers, fruit, and veggies and dips. Go early for best variety.
Drinks were always well stocked with bartending services to include wines, soft drinks, juices, and cocktails.
