We had our annual school auction and gala at this stunning hotel in early March. It was the perfect venue for our event. Nicole Paulsen-Ramos (Director of Catering & Events) and her team were amazing to work with and, because of their help and support, made the day of event logistics go smoothly. Our auction team appreciates their partnership, support, and helping the event be a success! THANK YOU! As for the accommodations, we stayed in a two-bedroom suite. Our suite was spacious, with all the necessities like a mini fridge, microwave, and workstation. We also had a large LCD TV with a queen-size bed for a comfortable sleep at night. I give the Embassy Suites in Downtown Pioneer Square an EXCELLENT rating and highly recommend them for a big event, a wonderful staycation, or a vacation. …
I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and always have a spectacular time! The staff is so kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well decorated, and the location is perfect for catching a game or exploring downtown Seattle. Great restaurants at the hotel and nearby as well!
Family of five stayed here four nights. First trip we've done without a rental car, and it was great! Took light rail straight from airport (kids under 18 ride free in Seattle) to intl/Chinatown stop. Two blocks later and we're in the hotel. Nice rooms, nice indoor pool, nice breakfasts, nice cocktail hour in the evenings, board games included. There's a very well equipped gym. There's an affordable laundry room on site! Easy walking distance to the ferries and any mass transportation you can think of. There's a good burger place nearby, a good sushi place, a convenience store that sells hot dogs/sandwiches and stuff. And if you need something delivered to your room they send a cute little robot. The odd? Are you waiting for the odd? It's the bathroom in the hotel room. The room is shaped like an O. The bathroom has two barn doors so it opens on both the living area and the bedroom area. There's no lock. The barn doors do not keep it quiet, at all. There is literally no privacy because it's basically how you get from the bedroom to the living area. Especially so if you're using the sofa bed. The one saving grace to this was the gym, which had private showers and bathroom. My trip was with my wife and my three daughters, guess where I used the showers and restroom. And guess where they did too. It was hard not to be self conscious when everyone could hear every little bathroom noise, and no one was sure if the bathroom was occupied. Still, would highly recommend for families. Ease of transportation around the city made this one a winner. Will return.…
The hotel was clean and pool was fun, but what stood out on our trip was a breakfast host named Claudia, we stayed there two nights and the first day she walked us through the whole process and was so kinda and polite and then the next morning she remembered us and our story and was so genuine, hospitable and amazing. You could see her interact with other guests and she was a light in the breakfast room and made anyone she came In contact with feel welcomed and important. We’ve stayed in many hotels across the country and she made this place memorable for us!!!
First class experience from check in to check out. Claudia and Terrance were ALL exceptional hosts and made my stay very memorable. Thank you, I look forward to seeing you all again!! Best, Michael
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant thanks to Claudia's attention with the spectacular service, thank you very much Claudia I hope to visit you again. The brakfast and service and Her kindness was outstanding ...
We stayed for 4 nights in a king room with a sofa bed. The room was a bit small, but nothing surprising for a hotel in a city environment. And we had a thoroughly positive experience throughout. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and every request was handled well. Breakfast was excellent, as other people have pointed out, and the evening happy hour for guests is a nice bonus. Having the 13 Coins restaurant downstairs and open late was a lifesaver. The only downside is that were disappointed not to have housekeeping service every day, but we did not understand until the last day that it had to be requested in advance. But that was our fault so I won't ding them for it. The only other thing that went wrong was that I couldn't seem to get the right decaf pods for the in-room coffee machine. In a hotel at this level I would expect them to have that straightened out. But these are fairly minor things. Overall we were totally pleased with our stay. We haven't stayed at Embassy Suites often, for price reasons, but this stay made us reconsider that. In the future we'll be looking at Embassy Suites more, because we got such a great value for the money.…
Claudia treated our family with the utmost professionalism and greeted us with a smile. She offered to help clean our table, while assisting others with picking up the breakfast. The smile she greeted our family with, made all of us feel Welcomed, so far from our actual home. I recommend placing (Claudia) in more of a supervisory role, because she has exceptional interpersonal skills and truly represents the Embassy Suites organization in a hospitality type mannerism. "Thank you Embassy Suites and Staff for such a warm Welcome " SGM Ruiz, Antonio M.S Professor
Light switches dirty, mass amount of dust was floating in air, dust on every surface and the air vent next to bed was full of more blowing out onto bed and air. There was dust in drawers, all over couch pillow, on tv screen, on phone, on Alexa screen, on kitchen items, on bathroom dishes and counter top. Finger prints on almost all stainless steel surfaces( lamp arms, lamp switch, door handles) Rolling chair was tearing up carpet and was disgusting—-covered in dust, dirt and hair. Coffee pot and fridge handle dirty. Kitchenette sink was nasty—dirty. Floor in front of cabinets was dirty. Mirrors and door have finger prints and dust. Mass of dust on windows and window seals—husband wrote on window and was able to see it clearly. Curtains full of dust- opened them in the morning and was literally attacked. My husband asthma flared up due to the dust, making his chest tight and he had to go home and grab his inhaler. The Dust was so bad my children were sneezing the entire stay. I put a mask on after my husband went to kiss me and their was dust sticking to my chapsticks on my lips. The though of dust mites and dust on your mouth…gross!! Even after putting mask on the dust managed to flare my allergies. My husband wanted to go home and get out air purifier even after house keeping came up and did minimal cleaning. My family and I left out room while 3 people came to clean. The Room was still not cleaned the greatest. When I complained my room was dirty it took 40 minutes to get some one up to room. Had to talk down stairs and ask yo speak with manager was told manager would come up and talk to me; Never did. I Asked for cups on counter to be replaced due to uncleanliness and they weren’t. It was obvious because they were mismatched in the beginning and after the cleaning people left as well. Shower had hair on the bottom of shower. Dirty hand towel in with clean towels, towel rack in bathroom dirty along with the floor near shower had splatters and were sticky. Black out curtains didn’t keep the light out at all. Damaged so they didn’t close completely. Thermostat stated 80 degrees but it was freezing the entire time in our room. I Called down and was told to as Alexa to turn the heat up but it kept telling me to go to the settings and adjust setting. No access to adjusting heat. Called down for 4 extra blankets. My daughter that we we’re celebrating her birthday was so cold I realized she had slept with her hoodie on. I have fibromyalgia and cold is never good… I woke up in lots of pain and a swollen lip allergic. While in the pool someones used bandage stuck to my foot… gross!! Stayed for my first wedding anniversary in July and my experience was as just the same but I was offered Hilton honors points that came out to be $10 when it was suppose to me more. It was very disappointing to get another extremely dirty room and paid $350 both times. Not okay at all!! My birthday child came down with a cold the next day. In July the room I book was given to another person and the upgraded my husband and I received was a dirty room that that weren’t able to check in until after 5 pm because hotel claimed they were cleaning rooms. My king bed would have been more comfortable than sleeping in a dirty double bed room on first anniversary. Between the two stays and how dirty it was both times I will not stay here again. There was so much more wrong with the rooms that it’s grossing me out to write this. Received text messages from hotel after stay asking for me to rate from 1-10 and I gave it a 1. Honestly if I could have given a lower number I would have. No one reached out to me and it’s almost been a week.…
My daughter and I travelled across the border from Canada via the Amtrak train, we stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, we changed rooms after the first night (our choice) as decided on an upgrade and we weren’t disappointed, the views were amazing and the room was spotless. We enjoyed the evening reception and the breakfast was lovely, especially the omelettes.A special mention goes to Claudia who went that extra mile, she was so helpful and cheery, we were just disappointed she wasn’t there on our last morning to think her personally. I would definitely return here.
