The pictures show exactly how small and cramped this place is. The room was cold even though the thermostat was set at 77. This is due to cheap windows and poorly positioned HVAC unit. No carpet on the floor. When I called down asking for towels the desk clerk was rude and

I'm not the typical demographic to enjoy this hotel being a woman in my 50's. I don't like the stuffiness of a traditional Marriott and steer toward the W's and Alofts. I was excited when I found the Moxy in Seattle. Love the décor, could care less that a bartender is

Dear Guest, We love that you are a Fun Seeker!! So are we. I am glad you touched on each of our aspects of the room and property, as it is so important to hear that you enjoyed our intentional design aspects and everything about our property! We agree, checking in at the bar is not only fun but a great way to unwind after work, plus a free drink usually makes my day better anyways! If you ever do need a desk while you're here with us and you don't want to be in the lobby we do have a library available! The small fold down desk in the room isn't huge but for a few tasks and a quick email or two after work, we find it does the job! We loved having you. Thank you for your thoughtful response and I hope to see you next time you're here. Shoot me an email and I would love to do a "hook-up" on your room with something special. isabel.bishop@moxyhotels.com

Terrible customer service!!! Absolutely no consideration for guests at all. Room barely has any amenities (not even a plastic cup), so refrain yourself from booking with this hotel! Make your money worth it and book somewhere else.

Thanks for your recent review. The Moxy brand is a European Style hotel with a modest room concept & a buzzy lobby. Our rooms are designed to be simple, with less clutter but fully functional. We strive to high the newest technology, high speed wifi, SMART flat panels & tons of power sources, while keeping all the unnecessary frills that most of us dont use while traveling, out of the room. Our lobby & bar are the place to be for work or fun. We have wifi throughout the entire floor, and guests have the choice of working at a normal table chair setup, or can throw themselves into a cozy couch, sit in front of the fireplace or right at the bar and enjoy a pint. Its definitely not your average hotel, its Moxy. Sabrina Paige

The rooms at the Moxy were great for a solo museum hopping trip this February. Clean with creative furnishings, the hotel offers great value near public transportation lines. Check out the Sasquatch murals at the elevator stops and the unique carpets and shower drains.

If you are looking for a ‘cookie cutter’ hotel, this is not for you. If you are looking for an original and creative place where space is used in wonderful ways, this is your spot. When we checked in, we were warned that the rooms ‘were not as large’ as we might expect.
