We have stayed many times over the years due to its location and staff. We stayed here so many years that we've seen several remodels. However, we'll rethink staying here again. Items that have changed: check-in is now 4 pm(!), the breakfast is 6 to 9 am daily even on weekends(?) and the price for parking has doubled to $30 even though the lower parking lot was totally empty. The rooms are very nice. Ask for a quiet room, not facing Fifth Avenue.
We stayed here right after the regulations got lifted for masking on June 30, 2021, so everything was in transition. It is conveniently located only around 5-6 blocks (15 minutes) of walking over to the Seattle Center where the Space Needle and Chiluly's Garden and Glass Museum are located. There is limited parking outside the premises and the parking area is located on a slight slant. We chose the option to pay extra with our room reservation as a package per day for the indoor parking which is secured. There was ample parking available. The indoor garage needs your room key to open to the elevators which offers security. Since the pandemic is still in transition, the normal Hampton Inn Continental breakfast was not served. Instead, the security downstairs at the 1st floor breakfast area gave us a list to choose up to 5 items for a breakfast bag prepared. There is a microwave and tea/coffee available 24 hours a day in the breakfast area. Worth the stay here and the rooms were clean and sanitized upon our arrival. Staff were helpful and prompt in checking us in and out. One other note, they offer baggage storage for early arrivals but I overheard the registration clerk mention that it was full for the day and they could not accommodate more baggage; therefore, make sure that you plan accordingly if you do not have a vehicle.…
That room is located next to an exterior door that slams shut with a VERY loud "bang" every time someone let's it go. Fortunately, other guests politely followed the request not to let is slam shut I had posted on the door (which was taken down and had to replace the next night).
I would rate it 100% if the carpet had little fresher order. It was little stale, but it is expected in March in Seattle. Staffs were all nice and professional. The breakfast was pretty awesome. The room was clean and equipped. The location was great, and the price was pretty reasonable. I would stay again.
For the price we were very surprised at the location. Only a few blocks from the Seattle Center. Easy walking distance to three great places to eat. The room was clean and nice and quiet for an urban location. The only drawback was that the breakfast area doubled as the lobby. That gave the hotel and industrial feel. But, would definitely stay there again if sightseeing in Seattle.
Good location. Good hotel and self parking is cheaper than the garage to Climate Pledge Arena. Safe area on the north side of Mercer. Easy walk to restaurants and other venues like the Ballet and Seattle Center.
Good, clean room. Good location for what we needed. Reasonable price for Seattle. Easy parking. Convenience to eating and shopping near downtown and close to medical appointments we had which was the reason for our stay. Located very close to the Space Needle.
The best. Cant wait to be back. Specially if i can get a discount. Everything was excellent. Clean room, friendly staff, great location. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. I will definitely use Hampton again for sure.
Hire new management who are more professional and have more experience with guest satisfaction. It was disappointing not getting what I paid for but it was even more disappointing for being made felt like it didn’t matter.
Stayed here for location but not sure I would again. Just so so & lots to chose from for the same price point. Staff was pleasant, breakfast ok, sheets super wrinkled. the workout room was fine and clean.
