There was spacious desk and bathroom facilities. I loved to come back to use fitness center more. The hotel cafe provide delicious coffee and scones. Staff was really helpful and friendly. I felt so comfortable to stay during my business trip.
The Olive 8 is a great choice for a trip to Seattle. Modern comfortable rooms with all the amenities you would expect and a nice pool and hot tub. Close to Capitol Hill where all the great restaurants are in the main, but not too far a walk to Pike Place or REI.
The staff were helpful to me as a guest and to conference attendees. The environs are boutique-like and also obviously living up to the LEED certification with green rooftop and card activated in room lighting. Loved it!
Upon check-in, they asked for my ID and credit card to verify identification. That another guest attempted to break into my room. The only thing stopping them from entering was the latch on the inside. After 25 minutes of slamming the door repeatedly another man attempted to open the door by sliding his hand in the opening to remove the latch. I later found out from the front desk on the phone that it was the security guard. This is a complete breach in security and safety. They also charged my card for two different rooms during the stay because we both had the same last name. Their solution was to apologize and give me a guest allowance of $100... The next morning I grab coffee downstairs and went back to my room to find my key doesn't work. They ended up canceling my key to my room rather than the other guest that was trying to break in. I requested a different room for the remainder of the stay. Did not feel safe.…
Great place to stay and be in the thick of things in downtown Seattle. Within walking distance of quite a number of attractions and shopping. Closer to our cruise ship than we expected and the staff was super helpful.
We stayed one night on a Couple get away. We would stay again. We loved the steam room near the pool. Wish there was one we could go in together. There is a steam room in both bathrooms near the pool. Would like if there was one for everyone but also wouldn’t want to have to worry about seeing people doing the deed in there either.
Front desk VERY accommodating we flew cross country with travel delay ETC Check in was EASY and Staff so friendly THANKS OUR ROOM VERY CLEAN thats great no COVID WORRIES HERE this is right in the HEART of SEATTLE
This was a great place to stay, in walking distance of pikes place, shopping & the rail. It was very clean, comfortable, and had a great pool & fitness facility. Valet parking is great but expensive. Also that bagel shop was ok at best and super expensive.
We were told we would be charged for early check in even though I called and ask before hand. We were charged for a crib nightly, I’ve never been charged for a crib at other hotels. The room was dated and not like the pictures.
My sister from CA and I from MN met in Seattle for our Irish Twins 50th birthday. We loved staying at the Hyatt for location, food and awesome hospitality. Would highly recommend! The 2nd floor has a steam room we took advantage of!
