Seattle isn’t one of my favorite cities; the weather doesn’t agree with my sunny disposition. When a work project beckoned me to the Northwest, I wanted to book a nice hotel that would offer ample amenities to distract me from the overcast weather outside. The Hyatt at Olive 8 accomplished that goal. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean,... More

When we booked the property it touted its "green" agenda. I have always worried it would reduce there quality of the experience. Happily the experience was terrific. Nice hot showers with good pressure, clean, good lighting. Great rooms, good bed. Kyle at the front desk was terrific. He was friendly and engaging. I am glad the Hyatt hires and supports... More

Was in town for a big convention at the WSCC, decided to use olive 8 this time, even though it was a bit further from the convention than other choices. Check-in was reasonable with a booked solid place and being a later evening timeframe. Elevators seemed slow to arrive but that could just be because of the volume of people... More

Stayed at the Hyatt Olive 8 for 2 days prior to a cruise. GREAT location and a very easy 6 block walk to Pike's Market. Many restaurant options are within a 2 block radius. The monorail was only 2 blocks away for a quick ride to the Space Needle. Room was great and staff most accommodating. The concierge flagged us... More

On college tour with my kids and stayed here 2 nights. It had all of the amenities and great location. The room service was above par. Upon check-in, I was disappointed because I was offered an upgrade by email before arrival that I accepted, but when we arrived, tired, I was told that all of the upgrades were given out... More

This was my first visit to Seattle for a medical conference USCAP 2016. Pros: Great place, awesome gym, nice location, very friendly concierge, clean rooms Cons: on site restaurants are not that great, For sea food lovers, check out the Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar within walking distance from the hotel. Also the Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room!

I stayed at this hotel earlier last year. I am a frequent visitor to Seattle, but this was my first time staying at the Hyatt Olive 8. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable; staff are friendly and obliging. The hotel is very clean, fresh and feels quite new. Definitely more of a European, modern hotel style than the typical... The Hyatt at Olive 8 occupies the bottom half of a newly constructed tower. Just a few minutes from great dining options, the luxuriously appointed rooms, friendly staff, and outstanding fitness center keep me coming back, year after year. I have stayed at this property more than a dozen times, the most recent being just a few weeks back, and... More

We stayed here for 1 night, preparing for a cruise. The hotel was new and amenities were good. The room we booked was very spacious and the bathroom was also spacious. The interesting thing about the modern feel is that the bathroom doors were the sliding "Barn Type" Doors, so they did not shut like traditional doors. You could hear... More
