Its a nice little place. Breakfast was great (cereal, fruit, toast, hard boil eggs, apple juice) they were able to accommodate the extra pillow request and clean up our room when needed. Free parking and good internet.

Our stay at Hotel Deca completely blew our expectations out of the water and made for one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. We were visiting Seattle to celebrate our anniversary, and when we mentioned this to the concierge, Mitch, he offered to upgrade us from the basic room we had booked to the top floor Talia...

All was good until i checked out and found that i had been charged $15 night facilities charge. The lady on reception didnt want to say to much when i questioned this, obviously its more a management thing and an excuse to make more money. However, i did get 2 nights of this refunded, but couldn't/wouldn't refund the rest as...

The Hotel Deca has location location location (walking distance to UW and funky U District shopping) and it's a great value in the Seattle University District also close enough to downtown (not walkable) that we often stay here while attending events downtown as was the case this time. I've stayed at Hotel Deca several times. Deca is billed as an...

What a find! Looked for a hotel near an event we were attending in the University District. Upon arrival, learned that we hadn't gotten the best rate when we reserved on a popular travel website. Lucky for us, the very friendly & helpful staff member at check-in, Enjolia, told the manager on duty about our situation & quickly gave us...

This week was my first time visiting Hotel Deca. I'd come back for sure, as the Hotel was very clean and had very friendly staff. They advertise a movie library, but it's somewhat limited to Titanic-movies.

From the Dave Matthews playing on the sound system (the one time I paid attention) the funky yellow chairs in the "communal chill out" section (in the lobby behind the super cool street level Seattle coffee shop) -- to the awesome staff, the cheerful fireplace, and the killer vibe of the District Lounge? Then you head up the elevator to...

I've stayed at the Deca a couple of times because it is so close to the University of Washington. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. On another note, the rooms are not very sound proof, there is no on demand TV and the heating/AC is terrible. If not for the location this review would be much worse.

The rooms are small, but the location is convenient for our needs. Staff is friendly, and they have a decent parking lot in a district with extremely limited parking. Nice little coffee shop downstairs.

The Deca was the conference hotel with a discount, for the event my wife was attending at UW, so it was clearly the choice for us, as Seattle hotels are always expensive. We stayed several days past the conference, and Deca extended the discount rate to those days, which was nice. I had some misgivings based on comments from others...
