Loved the neighbourhood and the B&B. We had the attic room which was very spacious and comfortable. Steep stairs up. The room does get a little warm during the day (it was 26 Celsius outside when we were there) but it cools right down at night and there is a ceiling fan and large windows that create a nice breeze.... We stayed at the Foxglove Bed and Breakfast in June 2016. The home is lovely. The room clean and the back yard is very well maintained. We did have some issues with parking. There was no parking available near the home and when we checked in. We drove the area for over 30 minutes trying to locate parking. Once we... More

We had a delightful 4 nights at the Foxglove. John was always interesting, with good recommendations for places to go and things to do as well as with restaurants. The morning spread of fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereals, and cheeses was healthy and delicious. Some construction noise next door during the week was our only complaint, but it was temporary... Here's a brief review befitting a brief two-night stay: Clean, charming, wonderful neighborhood location with good transit access, generous "extended continental" breakfast including lots of delicious fruit, friendly owners -- who could ask for more? Oh, and for the sweet of tooth, a never-empty 24-hour supply of cookies and wrapped chocolates in the foyer.

The Foxglove is conveniently located in Capitol Hill, a short walk to a strip of restaurants, bars and services, and just slightly longer to busier downtown areas. That being said, the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, with lovely homes and gardens. The house and rooms are beautifully appointed, and I had an updated bathroom and an incredibly comfortable new bed.... More

This place is beautiful! Took a while to find the location due to the construction next to it but we were happy once we were settled in. The room was so comfortable and it was hard to leave. This is in a good location as well; not too far from a lot of the popular sites in Seattle. The host,... More

We stayed at the Foxglove for 2 nights in May. The house is beautiful. Everything is very clean and neat with lots of great antique furnishings. The area is very quiet at night. Bus line 10 is a few streets over on John St. and will take you within walking distance of Pikes Market and the waterfront. There are many... More

Staying at the Foxglove was a fantastic experience. It was world class service and graciousness. Our rooms were impeccably decorated, and the house was spotless. The dining room and living room were also beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were excellent. After four days we did not want to leave, but will definitely return on our next trip to Seattle. Plus,... More

We just returned from a 6 night stay at Foxglove Guesthouse. The hosts, John and Dan, were very gracious and helpful with their knowledge of the area and the history of their beautiful1905 home. We stayed in room #2 on the second floor. It is the largest room and is in the front of the house with plenty of windows/light.... More

My sister booked this little jewel online for our mini vacation with our husbands. Foxglove Guest house is a lovely restored 1905 house furnished beautifully. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner John is the perfect host, very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. Capitol Hill neighborhood is walking distance to many wonderful foodie spots like Bakery Nouveau and... More
