Lucky at the front desk was amazing!! He greeted us every time we entered the lobby with a spectacular smile, asked what we were up to and offered suggestions on dining and things to do. Overall, The Paramount hotel was a perfect home base while we visited Seattle. It is set in a quiet area, but is close enough to the action to walk anywhere you wish to be. The room was very nice, clean & comfortable.
The hotel is doing some upgrades while the pandemic. The front desk staff was fabulous, especially Lucky, who made me feel like I was coming home for the holidays. More hotels need a Lucky. I watched her juggle guest calls, help people checking in, all the while making everyone feel special and important. Eric the Head Valet also deserves mention. He understands that he is a guests first impression and he is a fantastic ambassador. I travelled pre covid a lot on business and Lucky and Eric are 1%ers. After all over time the wow factor of a fancy lobby , or a nice room loses its' charm but warm, welcoming , and professional staff are the lasting memory of a good stay
I booked it on line and shortly afterward got a message of any special needs. I was arriving early off a cruise and leaving late the following day by plane. When o got there, the arrangements i asked for were there with no fuss or fanfare, just a matter of fact. The room was clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. There are several things like the market that are within walking distance. The Hop on Hop off tour bus has a stop at their front door and that was very convenient. It as an interesting way to see down town Seattle and a ride around the area that was narrated. Eric the concierge was fantastic. He was there to show us where to go and what to do the basically two days were were in Seattle. He not only gave us a map and pointed out features around the hotel within walking distance, he went outside and pointed out places to eat and do. The following day, he helped us with our stored luggage and assisted us with a lost uber ride. We had already checked out hours before and he went beyond the call of duty to aid us. I would definitely stay there again.…
Excellent hotel with a great staff. Spent a weekend there prior to our recent 7-day Alaskan Cruise. Eric Peterson (not sure of the spelling of his surname), the Concierge, was outstanding. He went above and beyond and was always cheerful, helpful and informative before AND while we were there. I'd stay there again if I'm ever in Seattle again. Hotel arranged for our transport to the Ship.
First the location is great, we were able to walk to many attractions like the Space Needle, Chihuly Glass and Sculpture Park, the Japanese Gardens, the Pike Place Market and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Our room was spacious enough for two, amenities were good. Front Desk staff was excellent, concierge very helpful. The light rail from the airport stops at Westlake Station, from there it is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Good restaurants in the area.
Stayed here for 2 days after a 7 day Alaskan cruise. Very clean, updated, centrally located, easy walk to Pike's Market, Aquarium, Ferris wheel. Also easy walk to Westlake center where you can pick up either the rail, or the monorail over to the Space Needle, Chuhily Glass and Garden. Staff is friendly and super helpful. Booked on-line with a third party, but The Paramount sent a survey about our arrival and departure time so they could accommodate us. I've only visited Seattle for a stay just this once and would stay here again. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent hotel with marvelous staff! Super clean and very comfortable. In a superb location downtown, minutes walk to the Link Light Rail and Pike’s Place. Lots to do in the area. Check-in and check-out is always a breeze. Only downside is that you have to pay for parking. But if you’re just using the light rail to get around, that’s not an issue.
Okay right from the initial booking online through to check in and check out… it was perfect! The room was excellent, King sized bed. We loved the bathroom, as it has its own door to the toilet and tub separate from the sink. Fantastic shower, with shower gell and shampoo dispensers right on the wall in the shower.. Blow dryer even an iron in the room too. It had a bar fridge and a large TV! It was more importantly Quiet….. This hotel is very central to downtown and we were able to walk to everything we came to do. We walked to the Climate Pledge Arena it was a 20 min walk. 10 min walk to the Pike Place Market… The Hotel desk staff were very helpful… We parked our car directly across the street at the Hyatt for $37 per day safe and secure… We’d stay here again and would highly recommend it to others….…
Great place to stay when seeing a concert at the Paramount Theater. The lobby is very cozy and inviting, and the folks at the front desk are friendly and helpful. I had booked a king room and was sharing it with my son. When I mentioned a preference for two beds they upgraded us at no cost, and at the last minute. The room was a nice size, clean, and with comfortable beds. When we called the front desk a few minutes before heading to the lobby to check out, they were happy to have the valet bring our car out front ahead of time. I would definitely book again!
We had a stressful day, cancelled flights-rerouted- layovers etc - but finally arrived at the Paramount near midnight and what an oasis we found! The night desk welcomed us and even delivered a new remote to our room. Thank you so much Austen G for being such a great example of outstanding customer service that the hassle flying half way across the country was quickly forgotten. The Paramount Hotel will be our destination on our next trip to Seattle and our friends and family will know where to stay. Thank you, Austen!
