There were a million hotels we looked through before finally choosing this one and I am glad we did. Aside from the convenient location where you can walk to most of the attractions in the area, the hotel itself has a nice boutique feel and homey ambiance in the rooms. Our room was great, it even featured light fixtures made by the manufacturer I work for which was cool to see in person. The room looked like a suite without the cost of a suite. It was clean, spacious and cozy. I will 100% stay here again if we come back to Seattle. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend.

Hotel's Favorite
My family and I traveled to Seattle for the first time and fell in love. The Alexis Royal Sonesta was a huge part of that. Everyone at the front desk were so kind and accommodating specifically Christine, Evan and Juan. The hotel is a wonderful location within walking distance to so much of what Seattle has to offer. We had adjoining rooms that were nicely appointed and wanted for nothing. We will definitely return!

Hello Sanger - So appreciate the note. Evan and Co. are all rock stars and have had their share of challenges keeping up with the rules and regulations of the Covid crisis. Great to read of their help. The location of the Alexis has always been a positive. We are within walking distance of pretty much everything you would want and if not - we will get you there. Come back soon and see what we have in store once the city is rocking again!

Have stayed in several different rooms at this location over time. every room is different that the other. Not cookie cutter. The staff is delightful, friendly and engaging. The Bookstore Bar & Grill is by far my favorite part, they food for breakfast and diner are a value and delicious. Location on First street is close to the Pier, Pike Place Market, Art Gallery, Aquarium and many businesses all within walking distance.

Thanks so much for this Jeffrey, the hotel has 122 different style rooms and styles - all worth writing about. The Bookstore is great but sadly still closed - however opening very very soon - you will find me first in line! The location is one of the great features and know that you can get anywhere in Seattle you want to be - easily and safely. Come back and see us soon. Tom.

I have stayed at the Alexis when it was under prior ownership so this was my first time back under Sonesta ownership. I was very pleasantly surprised! I was greeted warmly as soon as we entered the hotel and check in was a breeze. We loved our room for many reasons but the first would have to be how comfy the bed was! It is lower to the ground but I liked that. We slept quite well and found the noise level in our room to be perfect. Sometimes the downtown noise on the streets can be terribly loud but we did not find that to the be the case on our recent visit. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise as it was quite spacious. Lastly, the location is very near the Pike Place Market which we walked to on Sunday morning but also it is walkable from the stadiums which we enjoyed since we went to a baseball game. Nice not to pay for Stadium parking. I would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s a very short walk to the ferry, pikes market, the pier and so much more. Our room was clean and very quiet. We had a great view of the Ferris wheel and the mountains out in the distance. Huge shoutout to Jillian! She was so helpful in helping us get to Tacoma and went above and beyond!

We had come in for a concert (if you haven't seen Billie Eilish live, do it) and not only did we check-in early but Colin upgraded us to their best suite! I'm going to be dreaming about that large soaking tub for years. So HUGE shoutout to Colin for making that happen! The suite was nothing short of gorgeous, the response time for guest requests was quick, and a bonus is that there is a valet that knows manual (hard to find sometimes at valet-only properties). Seriously, it was my first time to Seattle, and while the location is top-notch, what will have me coming back every time was the level of service!

Thansk so much Anna! Colin is a rock star and those suites with the soaker tubs - awesome, not all rooms do, so make sure you book the Spa Suites! The location of the Alexis is one of the keys to our success but also great people who like working here. Look forward to seeing you again soon! Tom.

This was a magical weekend and, believe me, we needed some magic. Our room was beautiful and clean. The location was ideal and walkable to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The service was outstanding. Howie and Noah went above and beyond the call of duty. Will definitely stay there again and I’ve already told friends and family.

From the moment you walk into the lobby to the cozy modern rooms, my experience a the the Alexis was fantastic to say the least. As you walk out the lobby you can feel smell the refreshing ocean air. You can even take a stroll down to Lumen field to catch an event as it is just a quick walk. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the downtown area!
