During cruise season hotel prices skyrocket in Seattle ... to get a downtown hotel under $400 PN that's over 2 stars is almost impossible. About 6 weeks prior I found the Belltown Inn on Booking.com for US$180 and booked it, the week of our trip it was over $300 for the same room. Reception staff were really nice and helpful,... More

The location has great access to all major attractions. The physical location is next to a dog park with lots of interesting people milling around in the alley. Don't stay in room 207. It is about 12 feet off the ground on the alley side. The walls and windows are so thin you could hear people talking in the alley.... More

I read quite a bit of reviews before we decided to try Belltown Inn. For our first official venture into downtown Seattle, the location of this inn is everything! Their motto is "walk to everything" and that's true. It's not a far walk either. We went to Pike Place Market this morning and it was such a leisurely stroll. This... More

Average here means "good" (there really needs to be a 'good' category). We just brought a visitor to this hotel and having had a lot of experience in my last job putting people into hotels I came up and looked at the room. The BI was formerly a building of condos but has been smartly renovated and is now a... More

Stayed here after flying in before setting off on a cruise. Took the light rail from the airport (SeaTac) and walked from the closest terminal. Longer walk than expected, but OK. Some of the best parts are you are relatively close to the wharf, Pikes Place, and restaurants. A grocery store about a half block away is also a big... More

The bed blanket and the bath room tub, etc are not clean at all. I request to change another room but refused. The staff doesn't show concern at all. Very rude. I really regret to book this hotel even I think the location is not bad.

My granddaughter and I, on an adventure by train from Montana, stayed in Seattle at the Belltown Inn. We selected this hotel based on positive Tripadvisor reviews, and once again found them to be accurate. We arrived on foot before check-in after connecting to downtown by the Light Rail, but they were able to find a room available for us... More

This hotel is the BEST in terms of location of being .5 miles to everything from a tourist's standpoint. They are upgrading the hotel so there were some renovations but it wasn't an issue. It's a great boutique hotel and I would choose to stay here again when I visit Seattle. The only thing I would say is a problem....they... More

GREAT location. Walkable to Chihuly gardens, Space Needle, Fish Market & other iconic downtown Seattle sites. Plus, nice shopping in area. However, rooms were very tiny; hotel under construction; terrible mattress and spacey hotel staff. I wouldn't spend more than 2 nights there, although it was very affordable for Seattle & location. Parking lot was very accessible for a nightly... More
