The staff is phenomenal!! We had an amazing three days exploring the city. We had a lot of adventures, but we always were so comfortable once we came back. We'll definitely be returning to Hotel Max! Thank you for having us!

We chose to stay at Hotel Max because of its proximity to transit, shopping and attractions. We are both music lovers and I am an actual musician, so the theme was perfect for us to celebrate our honeymoon! We love older remodeled hotels and the Max is a nice hotel with cute rooms! The lobby was very inviting and had a beautifully vertically stacked set of drums with varying words. There was complimentary coffee and some pretty awesome Although the elevator is tiny (it can fit 2, with 1 suitcase each). Our room was on the 8th floor. Each room door has a unique portrait painted on it and it individualized each room.and had amazing city views. The room was spacious and had windows that we could open! The room décor was that of an old music lover's haven. It even had a radio that resembled the design of an old 40s/50s type radio. That was really nice. The bed was padded for days and made for some amazing rest.

Hotel Max has great vibes and also incredible service - front desk pointed us to great places to eat and things to do. Room was really comfortable and we slept way too long which was lovely. They held our luggage after checkout so we could do some more exploring before it was time to board our cruise. It was great to be able to walk to places like Pike Place. Glad we chose to start our Alaska adventure here!

Great spot! We had a wedding in Ballard over the weekend. Hotel is in the best location. Blocks from pike place market, fabulous breakfast spots Bacco and Cafe Champagne right near the market. Small rooms, but clean! Felt like a European hotel! The staff provides the best service!! Would definitely stay here again!! Don’t miss a ride on the Great Wheel and soaring over Washington also blocks from the hotel.

Great stay at the Max! I asked for a room with a view and was very happy with my monorail corner room. The free beer upon check-in was great and helped kick off the night. My room was clean and comfy. 11 am check-out was perfect for a lazy morning. Starbucks was a block away, then I was headed home.
