We often take the Westin in Seattle when being on a business trip. It offers a decent stay, but it is not great or superb which mainly has to do with mediocre staff. It is the "little things", which make the difference! And: Do not drink a Gin Tonic at the hotel's lobby bar since it is just expensive and...

Stay here in Seattle. Period. This was my second time staying at this hotel. The courteous staff and very clean rooms are worth the price. I checked in after a long day of flying and was welcomed by a very nice lady at the desk. You are offered a city view at an extra price which I did on my...

About a kilometer to Pike Market, nice quiet rooms. Mine was on the 43rd floor with a peekaboo view of the Puget Sound, but a full view of the ventilation fans on a neighboring rooftop. They did offer to move me that night, but I had settled in by that point. Under some renovation, eg. Elevators, but I wasn't in...

I stayed here for five nights for a conference. The hotel is made up of two towers of rooms, all of which are identical in shape/size/layout. Apart from a small number of suites on the top floors, the only "upgrades" you can get are related to what you see out your window. This is unfortunate as the rooms have very...

Wonderful views. Nice beds. Very clean. The food choices could have been a bit more wide-spread, and as a vegetarian I had to go outside to find food, but everything else was first rate. I have to give a few more words to fulfill the 200 word thing.

The Westin Seattle is a hotel factory, efficiently processing hundreds of guests each day, without soul. The staff is kind, courteous, efficient, NEXT. The lobby atmosphere resembles a transportation station. Everything has an additional charge. Read the faint micro-print. The hotel restaurant will sustain life at a high cost. There are much better dining options nearby. Even the concierge agreed....

I stayed at the Westin to attend a conference at the Washington State Convention Center a few blocks away. The hotel is a few blocks away. For those unfamiliar with Seattle (as I was), a small umbrella is a useful thing. There are routes to the WSCC that are nearly completely protected by awning, though. The room in the South...

In general I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were courteous and efficient, the room was clean and bright, I was comfortable and rested. My main complaint is that I was staying in the North tower and the elevators were incredibly slow, with waits sometimes 5-10 minutes. It was clear that one of the elevators was non-functioning, and...

Location is certainly the big advantge of that hotel. Rooms were ok, beds good. The noise of dropping water from air condition system annoys. Plenty of Starbucks around for breakfast. Price level high for what you get, but I assume that is the price level in that city.

Except for it being a bit dated the Westin Seattle is an excellent hotel. The downtown location is perfect and it is easy to get to any spot in Seattle. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomy and well kept. When my flight home was canceled due to weather the hotel managed to extend my stay despite...
