This old hotel is beautiful ! The staff is amazing. Great atmosphere and food. But with an old hotel comes issues that one should expect: -There were a lot of noises at night (no, not the ghosts. just random noises of an old place..pipes, etc). Aside from hotel noise, there was a wedding reception one night and the ppl were... More

We stayed at the Sorrento for my daughter's wedding and it was nothing short of incredible. The ceremony and reception were perfect with a fantastic sit down dinner and dancing. After a night to remember, the bride's family had breakfast in the restaurant and the wait staff went way above and beyond to ensure leftover cake and party favors were... More

I booked late and was given the two ADA rooms (#203 and #207.) I was charged full price for both. Unfortunately, 207 is not really a hotel room but more of a converted closet. I understand it could accommodate someone with disabilities, but either way a guest shouldn't be charged the same as another room. Rooms are dated and smelled... More

The staff was very nice at this hotel, however, I disagree with many of the glowing reviews. Although I understand the hotel is historic, it is in need of updates. The room we stayed in on the fourth floor was clean, but dated. The walls were chocolate brown and depressing. The rug seemed to be from the early 1990s is... More

We stayed at the Sorrento for a weekend getaway in Seattle. While on the other side of the highway, it was an easy walk into town (all downhill). We were able to walk to Safeco Stadium and Pike Place Market. We could have walked back but took taxis which were only a few dollars from downtown. All in all i... More

checked in late after a long drive. Restaurant was closed so I went to the bar. It was empty but the bartender Jesse was cleaning up in preparation to close in an hour. He served me a beer and provided me with a generous offering of bar nuts. Five beautiful sisters came in and sat at the bar with me... More

This is a gem of a hotel. Nicely positioned outside of 'corporate' downtown and close to the boutique villagey part of town. A real warm welcome from the porter and some brilliant ideas offered of what to do and see in town. The hotel itself is just charming - wood and log fires everywhere. A great choice for a relaxed... We stayed in a suite and really enjoyed the quirky, boutique feel of the hotel. Sleep is extremely important to me when it comes to liking a hotel, so I was really happy that the bed was very comfortable, the room was dark when the curtains were closed, and the air conditioning was able to make the room cold! The... More

We had a wonderful room at this beautiful, historic hotel! The main entry way is absolutely stunning in all its wooden glory. I highly recommend having a drink in the comfy furniture by the fire, chatting away into the evening. Their outside patio is also very nicely done and they have live music from time to time. My favorite part... More

Hotel Sorrento is very classy and elegant. Which I personally love and prefer. I mean sure there is time for modern, but then there are those times when you want something warm and cozy. Stay here when you want warm and cozy! But the vibe isn't just limited to the rooms, the sitting area in the lobby just feels right... More
