I recently stayed in Seattle, Washington with family at the Moore Hotel. I'm not really sure if you'd consider it a boutique hotel, as it has a lot of rooms, but it is rather quaint and not easily found on typical internet searches of Seattle hotels. We stayed in two rooms (4 people) with an adjoining bathroom. Interesting, but functional.... More

VERY old hotel (we normally love old buildings), Bad part of town, local cops told us it is a no-go area after 6.30pm and they were right. Homeless people everywhere in this area. No tea making facilities, No Aircon, No Fridge, filthy room (thanks for the pair of ladies panties laying in the middle of the room). Noisy, No Parking,... More

We stayed at the Moore Hotel 6 nights during a recent visit to Seattle. It is an older hotel, with some remodeling done, and it was very clean. The best part about staying at the Moore is Location, location, location! It is in walking distance to Pike's Market, the waterfront, and great restaurants! The lack of air conditioning was a... The Moore is one of Seattle's two truly historic hotels and is a great deal for downtown Seattle. I checked in at midnight and got one of the less desirable rooms, tucked away int he back overlooking the alley. It had a private bathroom with a non functional shower and no mirror and in the morning we woke to some... More

We stayed at the Moore when we flew into Seattle to tour the Olympic Peninsula, once at the beginning and before we left. The first night we stayed in one of their remodled rooms. It's an old motel but remodled. I like the older style and architecture so I thought it was real cool. The upgrades they've made kept in... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Moore hotel. The location is perfect, close to all the major attractions in Seattle. We requested a newly renovated room, yet the hotel room still had an older feel, with a claw foot tub, a big door with an old door knob, etc. I loved walking down the stairs and seeing how all... Moore hotel was good for the money. Room was big, bathroom was spacious with cute towel-animals. Walk-in-closet was nice suprise. wifi didn't really work anywhere else except next to the base station and at the lobby. Rooms are quiet, clean, spacious and beds are comfy and location works. And thats what you pay for when coming to Moore. Those needing... More

I have stayed at The Moore Hotel in 1996, 2001, 2006, and now again just recently in 2011. I'm happy to say it is still great. Excellent, central location for a very reasonable price. The service at the front desk has always been courteous, helpful, and friendly. The rooms and the entire interior, though basic, are very charming and clean.... More

I stayed at the Moore Hotel for 5 nights in early June. The price and location are fantastic. This hotel is within walking distance to many attractions including the market, ferry to Bainbridge Island, art museums, shopping and countless restaurants (including the dahlia bakery--trust me, you need the triple coconut cream pie). Keep in mind that the Moore is an... More

Just a quick stop in Seattle on my way to Canada. I don't mind using a bathroom/shower down the hall to save a few bucks on a hotel bill. It wouldn't be the first time. But this was the first time I've ever stayed in a "European-style" hotel that didn't even provide bathrobes for the hike to the shower. The... More
