I just checked into the Mayflower Park Hotel, and wanted to give a shout out to Robert Mendelson, the gentleman who helped me at the front desk. I had asked if I might switch rooms, which he was able to do ( not an easy task as the hotel is full)... He then went on to suggest a number of restaurants, and to give me directions, helpful tips for the area, and so on... This wonderful greeting has helped a solo traveler feel very welcome in a new city...
