This hotel was horrible in all facets of our stay. The TV didn't work. The bathtub was filthy and there was little water pressure and little hot water. There was numerous hairs on our bed including pubic hairs. I will never stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights prior to and 2 nights after my wedding. Staff were superb. My groomsmen came and got ready in my room on the wedding day. We ended up leaving in the late afternoon, after all the cleaning staff had gone home. My bride's sister called the hotel and they were able to get somebody to clean... More

From the moment we pulled up till we pulled away, the staff was very friendly and attentive. They had excellent suggestions and were very helpful. Breakfast was included, valet was very reasonably priced. No elevator, but they will take the bags up for you.

I wouldn't stay at the Marqueen again. Our bathroom was disgusting-- I will attached photos. The grout was covered in mold, there was black mold around the tub faucet. There was white good on the shower curtain. The room smelled of must-- not of an old building, but just, pretty icky. The bath mat was black, dust on the trim... More

I just can not get enough of the location, it is awesome and pretty close from everything (around 15-20 mins at regular pace). Service is good (just had a little issue not worth mentioning), but what it is really annoying is the wifi connection. I do understand there is an old construction and has some limitaciones, but they won't go... More

We like old, character, renovated etc. But this was just grotty. The room, although large was not clean. The corridors were dingy and dark and didn't smell too pleasant. The staff are obviously working very hard and making every effort to provide a good service. But the hotel needs an uplift.

To be fair I'll begin by saying that the Front Desk person gets a 4 star rating for her greeting and the way she managed to deal with shuffling rooms around to make everyone happy. Now that I've checked in I walk up the stairs to my room which is a suite on the 2nd floor. The suite was a... More

This was the worst hotel I have been at. First having a broken leg I was unable to use the main entrance, I was forced to hoble around the block and use a back entrance with a dimmly lit hallway that was full of boxes and part of the ceiling falling down. The hotel had a terrible smell, and my... More

Beautiful, historic hotel with a great location. I recommend requesting a room on the first floor if you are there preparing for a special event, such as a wedding, as there are no elevators in the hotel and going up and down several flights of stairs can be extremely inconvenient when you're trying to get ready for a wedding.

Our room was not positioned properly and we could not wattch TV from our bed. Our room was dark and gloomy and was not lite up good at all. The bell hop / valet host was very friendly and respectful. The location of the hotel is great and is in the center of everything. Walking distance to fine restuarants and... More
