We were so pleased with our choice of this charming hotel . The location was great for walking to the Seattle Center and to breakfast at the Mecca Cafe'. Thanks to the front desk staff, the valet and the bartender at Tin Lizzies who were all attentive and efficient and made our stay delightful . We would definitely stay here again.

I fell in love with this hotel from the first look :) The hotel build in 1918, and it's keeping all that charm and the atmosphere of that great time. The room was spacious with a sitting area and a great space for a kitchenette with some eating area as well with everything you need. All together it's so charming , and it's definitely not that kind of the hotel you sleep for one night and you totally forget about it on the next day. I want to come back to Seattle, and I want to stay in this particular hotel for sure! I would like to thank all the staff who was extremally helpful and professional, and I would like to tell a special thanks to Christian at the front desk who was just awesome. Also the hotel is offering a wallet parking for $30 per day which is very reasonable as the street parking is very limited, and a day parking near by is also $30 down the street. We checked out at 11 am , but we had our car kept at the secure parking until 3 pm which was just great for us. All together I got very excited about the area ant the hotel in particular, so I strongly recommend this hotel.

My first return to Seattle in just over a year meant I could once again stay in this beautifully restored historic hotel. It's just down the street from Seattle Center, and a quick jaunt up to Queen Anne's views, so it's perfect for me. My room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. I love having a fridge and a microwave because the wonderful Metropolitan Market grocers is just around the corner. Public transport is easily in walking distance and the city's attractions are close by. Thanks to the staff for remembering me and making me feel welcome again. See you next spring!

I booked last minute for a "sleepover" of sorts (I live in West Seattle) when I was going to a concert at the Climate Pledge Arena. I was sold on the 50% off parking by booking via their website, and was over the moon when I got to my room. It was TO DIE FOR (room 307, you're welcome!). Soaring ceilings, a darling kitchenette, TONS OF WINDOWS!! The bedroom was truly a dream, with the king sized bed and pocket doors and ceiling fan 🥹 Not to be left out: the view of Elliott Bay behind me, DICKS drive-in neon sign in the window, Climate Pledge too...I walked to the venue and back (alone, if that is useful) and was greeted by the super attentive staff. LOVED staying here and will come back! I would suggest this hotel for those truly into historic spaces where amenities aren't the focal point and travel light--no elevator, 3 floors.

Dear KLM206, We are delighted to know you enjoyed your stay with us and especially in room 307. That is one of our Queen Anne Suites and is a great room with wonderful views. We are in the perfect location if you are attending an event at the Climate Pledge. You don't have to drive around looking for a parking stop and it's only a three-block walk. Plus we are close to other attractions and great restaurants. We hope you pop over from West Seattle next time you are heading to a concert or event. Thank you, Alex Vinson General Manager

Everything was fine except the smell, staff all good, location good. If the owners redo the flooring and the walls, in the rooms, replace all the carpets in the building, get rid of the old, musky, moldy smell, then it will be fine to stay at.

Dear gsolke883477, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay with us. We are sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet all your expectations. The hotel was built in 1918 and there have been many improvements since then. The guest rooms have the original hardwood floors and they are cleaned daily and also polished on a regular basis. We are disappointed to know that you noticed a smell that affected your stay, but we appreciate your feedback. It allows us to celebrate our successes and make improvements where necessary. Best Regards, Alex Vinson General Manager

We booked the MarQueen after I emailed asking for information. They responded immediately. When we arrived, Christian was awesome. He is extremely friendly and went above and beyond as a tour guide. We arrived around 11 am and he stored our luggage immediately and gave us different things we could do with the kids. I was extremely tired from being up at 3am and he was great. The bellman was very attentive. I can't remember his name, but he was great with the kids. We had a room with 2 beds and couch bed. It had a little kitchenette and a bathroom with tub. This is an older building. If you are expecting everything to perfection in your room, you will not get it. Even though it will be close. It is a boutique hotel. But the staff goes above and beyond. Definitely will stay again.

We came into Seattle for a wedding 3day weekend full of activities and events and booked our stay at the MarQueen on Queen Anne ave N. Well firstly it’s large . and I mean large .. so much space in fact we didn’t know how to use it all .. which is what you can expect from an apartment conversion. The room and the hotel has a definite rustic & woodsie smell .. to the point I actually believe they pipe that scent into the hotel to give it that 1920s ambiance .. the creaks and sounds make it feel like you’ve gone back in time .. Staff were so damn friendly I loved the way they greeted us every time we passed by and welcomed us back late into the nights. The whole area “Queen Anne” is super quiet and you’ll sleep like a baby , unless you’re use to the big city noises .. the one draw back was the AC unit which was super noisy , how ever that was a quick fix with an adjustment of the thermostat at night as cooling didn’t seem as necessary… great spacious and cool rooms . Very close and easily walkable to the space needle, plus the whole art complex area, MoPOP and the Mono Rail .. Take the Mono Rail to get to 5th & 6th street cause that’s high street area for a some night brand shopping and flagship stores like NIKE & North Face. Lots and lots and Lots of cafes and coffee joints (it’s seattle remember) so expect to wait in line to get a coffee too and i have to say amazing food spots to eat as well as stylists and other services 2-10mins walking distance, also a CVS pharmacy on the corner. MarQueen is in a fantastic location. Be ready cause the hotel barely has any modern amenities to speak of , other than what you will expect… and just a touch of technology like the card door access and a digital screen for some viewing pleasure .. that’s about it. wifi was provided and I will say it was fair to good reliability. Again I will say this , it was quiet and peaceful … you have to try the coffee and ham&cheese croissant at the coffee shop connected to the hOtel .. it’s delicious ..

It's easier to say what I liked vs what I didn't like. It would take so much time to list the horrible things about this hotel. Not sure where to start. First of all... Since it is a old historical hotel is skulls have some quaintness about it. And the lobby does. That's where it ends. They have tried to remodel the rooms. But it was a very very poor attempt. Rooms are awful!!! Let's start with the cleanliness... There wasn't any. (Hair everywhere, stained bathtubs, water dripping out of every faucet. Shower sorta worked. The fridge smelled awful. Some other guest food was left in the fridge and cupboards. Fingerprints and smudges on the walls. Moving on... They put in window mounted A/C units. Which I suppose is ok unless you like to sleep. You can't close the curtains because of the window mounted unit. So ALL of the lights from the city is a spotlight in your room. If you close the curtains, you get no air. (PROBLEM) The beds were horrible. One of the most uncomfortable beds ever. There was a few burned out light bulbs in the room. The pictures they show off the hotel on-line are DEFINITELY taken some time ago. The "speak easy" type of lounge was ok. But closed at 9:00pm. We thought that was odd. For the money that it costs to stay in this hotel on the picture of the hotel on-line we were excited to stay here. We were so disappointed!!! No elevators. Which normally isn't a problem unless you have a family with a bunch of luggage. (And they put you on the top floor) It felt like a crime scene or something out of a horror show. I don't normally write reviews on places... But people need to be aware!!!
