Stayed here overnight for Alaska cruise, is a quaint hotel with charming appeal but for the budget minded traveler in a good area would recommend to stay here. Hotel is attached to the hospital so looking out window there is no view other than at hospital, recommend requesting room not at the back as we were over the hospital generators... More

Had a brief visit to Seattle ( no one told us about the hills). Nice hotel large comfortable room, great people on reception. Bit of a climb from the waterfront but easy access to,the sky tower and monorail. Only problem was the wifi which was poor in our room but great in reception. There is also laundry facilities in the... More

We stayed four nights at this hotel in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was transformed from an apartment building and used to serve mainly visitors of patients of the Virginia Mason Hospital and Medical Center. The layout of our room was a little different than the typical hotel. We had a relatively small room, a big closet,and... More

Frankly, I reserved this hotel because it was the cheapest decent property I could find in downtown Seattle. So I wasn't expecting much when we checked in. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small and the building is old, but they've done a good job of making the best of it. I've seen it described as "quaint" and that's... More

We liked this hotel. Close to a lot of restaurants, less than a mile from Pike Place and less expensive than others I researched. We only stayed the night before getting on our Alaskan cruise but I'd stay here again. There was no A.C. but most of the time, Seattle's weather is temperate and it isn't needed.

For a reasonable price, the Inn has a lounge/bar, restaurant, easy walking distance to downtown, and adequate rooms. It is not luxurious, but it is clean and has all the normal room amenities. We would stay there again without a second thought. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the open roof provided a great view of Seattle.

If you are looking for a hotel that is actually somewhat "reasonable" in the height of the summer season, when most hotel prices downtown are in the stratosphere, then you might wish to check here. But be aware that this is a very special Inn which is basically there to offer accommodations for out-patients or those having procedures done at... More

I was having my second knee replacement surgery in the past 8 months at Virginia Mason Hospital which is connected to the Inn. As this is where one stays when they come to the hospital for Care Of Excellence operations through company medical benefit plans, it's a blessing to be so close to the hospital. I don't know if management... More

Good Morning Bruce. Thank you for your recent review of your second visit at the Inn. We were sorry to learn of the difficulties with the remote and tub drain during your visit...both items should have been easily rectified. We're glad you liked the Keurig coffee maker. Unfortunately the majority of our guests found the machine difficult to operate so... More

Stayed here for two nights prior to a cruise. The hotel is in serious need of updating. Our room was a good size but quite shabby. Our bathroom was very tired with a broken mirror and some broken tiles and a very old bath. The bedroom was dark with poor lighting and in need of repainting. The free internet was... More

We stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend for a Family Reunion--probably 30 members of our group were housed here. It suited us just fine and dandy--it was charming, quiet, clean and comfortable. The decor is a little old fashioned, but very in- keeping with the age of the building and our personal taste. It was convenient to public transportation options... More
