I had a queen suite. I shared the room with a friend as we stayed in Seattle prior to going on a fishing trip. The hotel is somewhat dated. However, the room and bathroom were impeccably clean. Our room had air-conditioning and was very quiet. This was a large room with a desk, 2 queen beds, and a sofa. Seattle... More

I had a medical procedure the next day so we stayed at this hotel for convenience. Also it was a lot less expensive than most of the hotels nearby. It's an old building but very clean and well maintained. The room had everything we needed and was extremely quiet. We were able to walk to the Cheesecake Factory and to... More

We were happy to have booked this hotel since we hit a hot spell and appreciated the cooled room. The location was very important as well as the ability to repel the heat. Nice room with large bath. All good. The hotel now serves breakfast and also has coffee and sweet rolls for those on the go.

Wonderful staff. Great room, a junior suite with corner windows. It was very large and clean. Roomy bathroom. Minimal AC but they provided a fan which did the trick. Took advantage of the airport car service they recommend. Wonderful service both ways. Very nice area, close to restaurants and Pikes seafood. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked the Inn at Virginia Mason on the back end of our cruise because it was the lowest rate available near the city center. The Inn is an older historic building but clean, well kept, comfortable beds with many standard features. NOTE: it does not have air conditioning - something not really needed in Seattle except the night we... More

Hi Jeff, Thank you for your review. We're pleased to hear your room was clean and comfortable. Our limited radiant cooling system doesn't handle some of our hotter days in Seattle. . .sorry about that. But keep bringing the sunshine our way because there is nothing more beautiful than Seattle this time of year! Safe travels and please visit us... More

Visiting Seattle on business, I just couldn't justify paying the super-high prices for the main downtown hotels. The Virginia Mason is clean and very conveniently located. It's a nice (downhill) walk to the downtown shopping and business area as well as Pike Place Market. The neighborhood is medical and apartment buildings and felt very quiet and safe. My room was... We stayed here for two days, the location was good, a bit odd to stay amongst people mainly visiting the hospital next door... Rooms are a bit dark and noisy, but spacious. The patio is very noisy with all the AC nearby. Staff is friendly. Not a place that gives you a holiday feeling!

Good Afternoon Tanya. Thank you for your review. Yes, we are very proud to be a part of the Virginia Mason Medical Center and able to offer affordable urban accommodations to all patients, their families and visitors to Seattle! We have a great open-air rooftop for watching the Blue Angels over Seafair but you're absolutely correct, Seattle has lovely hotels... More

This hotel is conveniently located to the downtown area. While a little old-fashioned, our room and bath were spacious and all we needed for an pre-cruise overnight in Seattle. Short walk to Pike's Street and waterfront.

My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay wish it could have been longer. Parking was tough for a Dodge ram but we managed. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating as well. Perfect location for Swedish hospital and Virginia mason. The decor was so rustic, vintage, quaint and homey. My favorite was the... More

Stayed here overnight for Alaska cruise, is a quaint hotel with charming appeal but for the budget minded traveler in a good area would recommend to stay here. Hotel is attached to the hospital so looking out window there is no view other than at hospital, recommend requesting room not at the back as we were over the hospital generators... More
