We chose this hotel because it offered a Gluten Free breakfast. We were not disappointed as we were offered 3 mini bread rolls and 3 small cakes, all gluten free. Although the restaurant did not advertise Gluten Free for the evening meal, there were several items on the menu to suggest that they were free from gluten. The bedroom was... More

To Ibis Hotel, When an int'l hotel chain like you decided to open a branch in any city/country, first and foremost you have to make sure you recruit people who CAN (actively!) speak English. Aside from the decent beddings & meals, I truly dissatisfied with your hotel staffs. They (except one gentleman there) hardly speak in English hence difficult for... More

On arrival, you feel like you're entering a prison: grim countryside, next to a main road, completely grilled in carpark. The building is of typical Ibis architecture - dull colors, anonymous entrance - and there was a somewhat clueless receptionist who was unable to give us the name of a bar showing the Rugby (big Fr vs. NZ match). The... More

Booked ahead so got a good room rate for three nights. The hotel is located close to the main road that goes around the south of Provins. Access down a poorly surfaced road to a gated car park. Check-in was 'matter of fact' but efficient enough. A short walk to the old town via the tourist office, but a bit... More

Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast selection was very good and plentiful. Car park locked at night which provided peace of mind (access to residents via buzzer). Clean and pleasant hotel. Good base to explore the beautiful town of Provins and only 80 minutes on the train from Gare de L'est Paris. Walkable, allbeit a good walk, to Provins.... More

Room was good and very clean, breakfast was good. Thought it was little over priced but we had just landed from long flight and driven from CDG, first place we see in Provins Located pretty close to all you need to see.

I was a big fan of the Ibis chain until they decided to try and squeeze more from the market by down-grading their worse units to Ibis Budget and by up-pricing their more popular units. This unit was perfectly situated for me as I headed across France to the French port of St Malo from Switzerland. An older unit with... More
