Our initial impression was not good as the reception area was very untidy and smelt of stale cooking. The lady in charge was a little eccentric but friendly. Our room was quite large and comfortable and there was a bath and shower. We were at the back overlooking a courtyard so had no traffic noise (it's on quite a busy...

This was our second choice hotel as we wanted to book for 2 nights and the Relais d'Abbaye, almost opposite, but they are closed on Tuesdays, never heard of that before. We need not have worried as here was very pleasant, comfortable large room with a comfortable bed and clean. With a self service continental breakfast and free parking opposite....

A straight forward family run hotel with a pleasant and helpful staff. It is within walking distance to the old city. The breakfast is good and the stay was great. They looked after our bikes and tea was served immediately after arrival. I can recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for several days, waiting for recently bought apartment to be move in ready. Owner & staff very nice & accomdating. Hotel is a little dated, but lacks for nothing. Very clean & the breakfast was self-serve, but great! With nice coffee machine, juice, croissants, or cereal, toast, butter, more than complete continental breakfast. Very accommodating, if you're...

Tournus is such a beautiful place. We were stopping here on the way down to south of France. I wanted somewhere central and reasonably priced. The hotel is a bit tired looking with 70's/80's decor. The stair and landing carpets were very worn with holes. The room was basic but large and the beds comfortable. The staff were quite friendly....

Four hotels by the railway station, only a short walk down to the town, with its four Michelin-starred restaurants. We had a very helpful and friendly welcome from a charismatic couple, and a very reasonable room at the back. The front of the hotel is on the main road, the back overlooks the railway line. Sounds a bit much, but...

This is a lovely little typical french basic hotel situated in a beautiful town just off the motorway. We stopped here on our way after 2weeks in Languedoc and although a little basic it met our needs for with a family room which was clean. The lady who welcomed us was friendly and informed us of somewhere to eat for...

The hotel is old, the carpet would definitely need some refurbishment, same with the lobby. However, it is cheap and ideally located close to all Tournus main attraction. We arrived early (like 1pm) and asked if the room was ready. We were poorly welcomes by the manager of the hotel who told us in a whisper "way too early..." nice......

Stopped here for one night in late November to eat at Meulien and to visit the 11th century abbey. It's a basic hotel, but the owner and staff are very friendly, parking is super convenient, free and just across the street, and it was only 52 euros for the night. The free, wifi worked well too. Breakfast was a good...

We got a nice big room with an ensuite bath room at a reasonable price. WIFI. No elevator. There was plenty of fresh food and coffee for breakfest. We liked the coffee machine from which we could choose individual styles of coffee freshly brewed. The hotel is being refurbished over time and has already got a more modern look. We...
