Excellent location, beautiful scenery and coastal walks and first class on-site facilities across the complex. Magnificent views across to the Crozon Peninsula from the restaurant. We plan to visit again and stay for a few more days

Made a big mistake by arriving without swimsuits, as the modestly-priced (£54 without breakfast) double room came with free spa access, which we couldn't benefit from. Modest, but clean and comfortable room with all the facilities you expect. Great value, even though not in the best location as although it is very near the sea, you can't actually see it...

I liked my stay at BEST WESTERN Hotel Thalasstonic. Expecially the dinner was delicious. Unfortunately the room was tremendously warm, the Wifi did not work very well. The carpet is old and giles to the room a smelly scent. For the price I paid I considered it OK..

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. I had mistakenly thought that it was reasonably close to centre of Douarnenez, but in fact it turned out to be a good 20 -30 minute walk into the centre, although only about 15 minutes from the Port de Plaisance. The hotel is connected to the thermal spa by an underground tunnel, and...

...the pool closed at 8:00pm, that you needed to wear a swim hat as well as speedo swim trunks. I'm not sure it would have stopped me booking this hotel but it would have allowed me to be more prepared once there. As for the hotel itself, it's well located 30 seconds from the beach, pool and private terrace next...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a friend courtesy of her generous Christmas gift to me. As part of the gift spa treatments were included. These were pre booked in for us during our stay. We could not check in until 4 but were able to use the spa facilities from 2 p.m. We ended up being...

We have stayed in this hotel for one night and thalasso spa treatments. Very comfortable hotel with the spa facilities connected to the hotel building. A nice view of the sea from the pool. Nice service and good food.

A clever bit of property development has seen them able to market a pedestrian town centre 3-star hotel without views as a seaside holiday "Thalassa" because they've dug an underground passage to the local swimming pool. The hotel itself is unremarkable: quite nice rooms, they've made an effort with sound-proofing by adding a secondary door between the entrance vestibule and...

Not on seafront, poor views. Swimming pool not on site & not welcoming. Needed to walk via underpass, wear robes and hats. Dis-organised reception desk; could not find our reservation. Room not made up on arrival. Poor internet coverage. Expensive Breakfast. Noisy at night.
