I spend a couple of days here with my girlfriend and we just had an amazing time thanks to the staf, first : Always helpful, knowledgeable about the region and discreet. The rooms are clean, the hotel is simple but cozy... And the breakfast is original and yummy! Definitly the place to stay in Saint-Louis! We'll come back for sure.

Nice hotel, very clean and petit breakfast, close to the railway station. good transportation to Basel (bus 604), but, very small rooms ang No English speaking. This hotel is in France and if you need to be in Switzerland it is not recommended.

Positives - clean room, good staff, close to railway station and connections to Basel. Early check in no problem and some very good offers available. Negatives - general area around hotel has little to commend it. Bathroom very small. Good for overnight but not a long stay.

Upfront this is a simple hotel and is comfortable for an overnight stay. It is easy to get to Basel, cheaper than staying in Switzerland and costs less to get a taxi to from the airport. The staff are friendly and though they speak limited english if you can manage a little french you will be fine. The rooms are...

We got there for the Basel's Carneval, and chosen because it's a "Logis de France". Easy to go to Basel by bus (stop nearby, at the station). Staff/owners very nice and friendly: we got our room at 10:30 in the morning without any problem (be careful if you arrive between 12:00 and 14.00 nobody is there, though). Clean, spaceful and...

We arrived late into Basel so needed somewhere just for the night. Reception staff spoke little to no English but we managed to communicate. The room itself was a bit sparse and the wooden floor, while clean did make it a bit impersonal. The bathroom felt like it was brand new and I loved the mosaic floor in the shower....

We stayed in this hotel for one night in January 2012 en-route to Venice. The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from St Louis station but they do not accomodate for the English speaking guests (from experience the majority of people can speak/understand English) there must have been over 80 tv channels but not a single...
