We checked in and had the resort to ourselves! Alex, our bartender and waiter for dinner was exemplary! He moved a table into the main room for us (next to the fireplace) and made incredible dinner menu recommendations. He is very thoughtful and helped with every question we had about the area. The chef, is incredibly talented and the food was phenomenal with 5 star service, presentation and service! This resort is outstanding and we would absolutely stay here again. The casitas are clean, cozy and comfortable!
We loved our little casita with our wood burning fire place. The casita was so clean, rustic and comfortable. The food at the hotel was so fresh and delicious. We loved the walking trails on the nature reserve and seeing the wildlife and fauna.
Absolutely loved Villa Blanca as the first stop on our honeymoon. Beautiful, remote, secluded, and a true crown jewel of a simple but elegant Costa Rican lifestyle. Definitely not a resort kind of feel- we had the best food of the entire trip (not one bad meal); everything is so fresh and made/sourced locally. We had the entire place to ourselves one night and they treated us like royalty. Top that off with cozy fireplaces in our room and a jacuzzi to relax in at night- Villa Blanca is such a special place.
The resort was wonderful. We got lucky and had the place all to ourselves one night and they absolutely spoiled us with attention. They set us up our own private dining table in front of the fireplace and the food was outstanding. Our favorite there was the bartender, Mario. His service was exceptional and he’s a super nice guy. He actually climbs up trees to get the fruit that he uses for his drinks. That’s a real commitment to his craft. We loved the movie theater and game room. We enjoyed taking a jacuzzi bath in the tub. Mario even gave us some candles to make that experience even better. We just loved the place. It was the perfect hotel to end our week long Costa Rican trip.
My friend and I came for a two-night stay at this beautiful secluded Resort. The cabins were nice but simple with a fireplace that really made the place come alive as we were there during rainy cold days. We made the most of the weather and still took a rainy hike on their Trail, watch movies in the theater, made the most of their happy hour in front of a beautiful fireplace, and enjoyed some of the best food in our trip to Costa Rica. The soups were delicious we had both the tomato and the pumpkin squash soup. We had there sea bass for dinner and their pork chop with veggies everything was made to perfection. Worth every penny spent on this food. The staff was great at accommodating any need and made sure we got a shuttle at 2 a.m. the road was a little scary when we first drove up at night time they do need to work on that and it would have been great if they had an outdoor jacuzzi to enjoy during the rain otherwise a great experience.…
