We had a wonderful time in this hotel. The location is 5minutes away to the sea and not 20 mins by car to Copenhagen main attractions. There rooms are very clean, spacious, lighted and with very good quality bath products. All staff we interfaced with was very welcoming and kind, paying attention to all our requests and even anticipating some of the things we may need. In addition we wanted to celebrate our wedding there and they managed to support us with all needed and contributed immensely to the success of our event, particularly in times like these. We could not have imagined a better place to stay in. We discovered good professionals we know we can rely on to enable us with an awesome experience.

Simply perfect ☺️

Beautiful building on a side street with the Øresund shore at a distance (crossing one small and one major road). The balconies add a lot to the spartan rooms and are great for spending parts of the day. Free parking next to the hotel.
The hotel boasts a lot of rewards, however when you look closely, at the diplomas, they are dated back to around 2013. That is in line with the feeling that the hotel is somewhat run-down and would benefit from some freshening up.
There are several restaurants in the building - the drawback being a lot of noise late at night from the tables outside.
On the whole, the hotel is overpriced. All the tiny extra charges for bathrobes, twin beds etc are annoying and take away any sense of “hospitality”.
Conclusion: glad we stayed here, but once is enough.

Small charming hotel 12K from the centre of Copenhagen placed close to the local marine and the fantastic promenade following Øresund. There are busses and trains or you can rent a bike if you want to visit the surrounding landscape or the capital city of Denmark.
Friendly staff and cosy restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Family owned and managed.

My husband and I went to the hotel for a gourmet stay.
The hotel is excellent maintained with respect to the original style.
The stay included a superior room, which really was superior. Spacey and with big windows with view over Øresund (the sea).
The waiter in the restaurant was very serviceminded and experienced. He created a wine menu which was perfectly adapted to the dishes on the four course meny. The food was perfect - with plentiful dishes.
The breakfast was fresh and homemade.
A perfect stay, we can higly recommend this cozy hotel.

Forty years ago (almost) some copehagen friends of ours was raving about this hotel.
Finally we got around to staying there on a recent biking soujourn to Zealand.
Close to Copenhagen and close to Louisiana (not the state, but a magnificent modern art museum) near the hamlet of Humlebæk, it was a perfect staring point for a 10 days trip covering the northern part of the lovely island of Zealand.
Terrific, old style room with a wonderul view of Øresund and southern Sweden, quite spacious with a small balcony for watching the sunrise.
We had a dinner, room, breakfast deal and the meals were really excellent, a great emphasis on the customer.

We felt very welcome and our dog even more so. Included dinner was extremely well prepared. Room and dining areas was clean and have great atmosphere. I would have liked a piece of bacon with the breakfast. But that’s a minor thing.

We had a nice stay in quality. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room small but good quality, clean and good beds. Easy parking. Good drinks in the restaurant. Thought we had made a reservation in the hotel restaurant famous for its meat & grill, but it turned out we had booked at the restaurant next door Skovshoved Kro which turned out to be a lively little bistro gem for locals. Since the area is posh it has high standard and good people watch, very ambient. So happy since the hotel restaurant seemed very ambitious and quiet.

Excellent hotel when visiting family in Copenhagen. A simple bus ride (route 23) from the centre . The hotel is quiet with views of the sea . We will return when seeing family again as location when driving (from UK) is great and easy parking in hotel car park.

Each room tastefully decorated, personal service and very good breakfast. Proximity to sea is great. Beds are fantastic. The next door inn serves traditional Danish dishes and has lots of atmosphere. If you are frequent traveler and wish to have your own personal space, this is it.
