We had the pleasure of being on Thomasea with Captain Paul for 2 days. Paul was amazing! Very personable & knowledgeable. We’ve had halibut fishing in Alaska on our bucket list for years and he made our dreams come true! To say this trip is memorable is an understatement! Thanks Paul! You truly are the best!
I don't usually leave reviews, But after a few fishing trips with these guy's, they have become my family in alaska. Thank you Cpt Paul and Bobby for a wonderful time. I can't wait to return in June of 2022. Whatever your needs, this is the go to place
the site had one spot for small tent, and one spot for my car. at midnight some Van pulled in and said he had campsite 32. luckily he wasn't pulling out his tent cause there was no rm for a tent. no campfire and I pretty much had my tent next to his muffler. It smelt like sewer on both sides of millers landing camp site as I stayed at Erin the week before, thinking, maybe this side wouldn't smell like the bottom of a sewer, but no, it never went away. very very small site. not even a table at site 30, but there was one at Erin. oh yea, paid 30 dollars for a campsite that was filled with trees. The trees covered the fire pit.
This campground is great. However, I was in campsite twelve in the annex. I specifically got a campsite here while fishing down nash road so that I wasn't camping right next to someone. Come to find out when I got there, my campsite was pretty much sharing a campsite with the people next to me in campsite 14.
My friends and I went kayaking with one of the Miller's Landing day trip guides, Ron. It was phenomenal to kayak in the open water. Ron took us to all the interesting spots and gave us so much background on each location. There was a waterfall at one point which blew us away. All in all, HIGHLY recommend the trip and HIGHLY recommend our captain, Ron!
