The room was huge and renovated. I really liked the decor. The view right outside the window was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Overall, it was a good place to stay. Only thing, I wish they provided a cooked breakfast.

We were in the High Tide room on the second floor for 3 nights. The views were nice - cruise ships coming in and out of Seward and small boats on the bay. The location was quiet. It was a ways out of town down a dirt road as mentioned by other reviewers. The ride to the Inn was not... More

My husband and I stayed in the Low Tide room of the Alaska Paddle Inn in June 2016. We cannot say enough nice things about this wonderful inn. It was clean, charming, and convenient and had beautiful views. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The property is located across the street from a quiet, rocky beach. It's a... More

Paddle Inn was a fine place for us to base in the Seward area. We were in the lower unit "Low Tide". Beware the Paddle Inn is not actually in Seward, but out a couple of miles on an at times rough and potholed dirt road at Lowell Point. That road is literally carved from a very steep mountainside that... More

Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciate it. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your room and the craftsmanship of the room. We tried to book Alaska paddle inn but it wasn't available... Good news for us: their other property - a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom house nearby WAS! Wow, this place is fantastic! From the minute we drove into the drive we were all smiles. Beautifully done, both inside & out. Huge porch, inviting living room/ kitchen, comfortable bedrooms where the black-out... More

We stayed in Paddle Inn for 2 days, it was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The view was excellent from the high tide room. They also have a private space alongside the beach, you can enjoy the evening along the coast. Host Alan and Allison were great too. No negatives.

Such a wonderful experience at Alaska's Paddle Inn. I highly recommend this B&B for the comfort, the hosts, the view, and the price. We stayed in the Low Tide room and we are excited to go back. Really enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the otters. I have zero negative to say. Thank you Alan & Alison for this... More

These folks have it figured out. I wanted to stay even longer! Our group had both the High & Low Tide rooms and they were great! Clean, cozy, uniquely crafted, and that view! We wanted to cook outside and the owner brought us a grill for our feast. The beds were extremely comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, and I will... More

This bed and breakfast for perfect for my husband and I. We stayed in High Tide, the upstairs unit. The home was recently built by the owners, and you can tell love and care and expertise went into the design and building of this home. The stonework throughout the unit and the walk in shower is gorgeous. The homeowners, Allison... More
