Not luxurious by any standard. As others have said...unenforced quiet hours. Fire pits too close to the next spot....smoke filled our RV. For Seward it is nice. Best option away from the water. Nice trees and the creek....bald eagles, bunny rabbits and ravens. One guy saw bears. WiFi was awful. Our unhappiness owed as much to the other RVER'S attitudes... More

The choices for RV parks in Seward for big rigs are limited. This one is about 1/4 mile off the highway, but several turns and crossing a low clearance railroad crossing to get there make it inconvenient. When we finally arrived we found a gravel parking lot with several rows of hookups. It does have full hookups and nice tables.... More

Stoney Creek RV Park is your stereotypical Alaska RV park... a large gravel parking lot. But, and this is the key, if you call and reserve one of the spots that backs to Stoney Creek, such as sites A1 - A15, then you will have a really nice site with trees directly behind you (or in front, depending on which... This summer was our first ever RV experience, and Stoney Creek was the first commercial RV park we stayed in. True, it is mostly a huge gravel lot with hookups, but it is clean and the sites were not too close together. There were lawns where some families had large barbecues. The Internet was not great, but I was able... More

We stayed at this RV park and would not consider it to be a luxury campground. It is your typical Alaskan campground.....a gravel lot. You are surrounded by mountains and trees, but that is the start and end of the luxury. I went to check in and the guy in the office confirmed the number of nights of our stay,... More

This campground was fine for a couple of nights. We liked that it was a bit outside Seward but still convenient to it, it had nice views, and our site was right by the river with a nice fire ring. It was quiet and pleasant and the hookups were easy to use. The negatives were: - the wifi was incredibly... More

This was the first place we stayed on our trip after not finding any availability at the waterfront park in Seward. We are so glad we ended up staying here. The large sites and beautiful scenery of the river were so awesome. We loved just hiking around the campground and saw 5-6 eagles overhead. Amazing. The staff were very friendly... More

We stayed here in a 40' class A with a towed for about $37 per night with elec and water but no sewer . Park is not the easiest to get to, dirt/muddy road with several turns but they are all marked with small signs. Site (B11) was a pull through that was wide enough to park tow beside coach.... More

Although this CG is basically a stone lot with full hook up sites both back in and pull thrus it has very good services. We stay in site C13, PT with 50 amp service and water and sewer hook ups. We are very long and it was no issue for us to get in. The CG is about 6 miles... More

Tucked away and is neat and clean. Too many noisy dogs who constantly barked unfortunately. We love dogs but maybe the parks shoultd provide a seperate area for those with animals. Maybe a bit expensive for what is provided. Also, the bathroom facilities were inadequate for the number of people. The toilets doors are much too small to provide privacy... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located on 15 acres, 6 miles north of the hustle and bustle of downtown Seward, our full service park is a wonderful place to come home to after a busy day fishing and sightseeing in Seward. Sit back, relax, watch cable TV, stroll along the creek, take a hot shower, do your laundry, make a campfire in designated spots. All our sites are 30 feet wide, allowing ample room for slide outs and even room to park your truck or car. Most sites are at least 50 feet long, and all are equipped with power (some 50 amp), water, and Sat TV. 68 Sites have sewer and 38 have phone jacks. We CAN accommodate the big rigs! Creekside sites have firepit. ... more   less
