The Windsong Lodge Was a great place to get out and enjoy the quiet beautiful landscape of Seward. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is a hit out of town (East car drive, but a bit far of a walk). I didn’t use the shuttle service since I had my car, but I would assume during peak season they run pretty frequently. The lodge is right down the road from the Exit Glacier trails, perfect for a morning hike after a nice breakfast at the Roadhouse. The food & beer items were limited, but it went at end of season so that is expected. Morning coffee was actually decent which is rare in many hotel restaurants, I very much appreciated that. Overall I would definitely stay here again!

Safe, clean & comfortable rooms. Staff is awesome. We arrived past midnight exhausted from a long drive to town & was checked in less than 5 mins. Late checkout allowed us to enjoy the 9 mile glacier hike and shower before our evening flight. Some guest double park so if you arrive late, you may need to park in the next buildings parking spot.

I stayed at Windsong for two nights this past week. We pulled into the parking lot on a whim, and were vey lucky to secure a new room in the Juniper building. The modern decor coupled with the woodsy/log cabin influence, along with an outdoor deck to see the beautiful stars from, made for a lovely hotel room- and it was easily the largest room we had while in Alaska. The customer service was great- from check in to check out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area!

We stayed two nights here while vacationing. The entire staff was super helpful. Facilities were excellent. Restaurant on site has great food. Needed late checkout and it was no problem. Close to Seward with shuttles to wherever we needed to go or get picked up. I would recommend this for a visit to Seward.
