We stayed only one night at Kayakers Cove but if we could we would have stayed more! Clean, organized and beautiful place. We hiked and made a big tour with the kayaks! Going in the sauna at the end of the day is also very good! It rains almost all the time we were there but "there's no bad weather,... More

Well it rained the entire 2 days we were there (mid Aug), but we still loved it. Our family of 5 (kids 12, 16,17) stayed in a cabin, which was toasty warm with a fire in the woodstove, helps to dry out wet clothes too. Actually, it got unbearably hot in the loft, with no way to open windows up... More

Loved our time at kayakers cove. We stayed in one of the cabins which was perfect for us as a couple and we were talking about bringing our kids back with us one day. Definitely rustic but more than comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, spices, etc. Had a fabulous day of kayaking to humpy cove- great waterfall and... More

I absolutely loved this place and so did my 8 yr old son! We stayed in the main lodge with 4 others just for one night, wish we could have stayed longer! We kayaked all around the area, hiked on the great trail out back...and enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. It was great to "unplug" and just play Monopoly... More

Stayed for three days and two nights in a cabin. We loved the rustic, quite, peacefulness of the cove. Really enjoyed spending time relaxing in the main lodge and the fire pit outside to enjoy the midnight sun. Really recommend renting the kayaks and exploring Resurrection Bay and all of the little coves. There is also a hike where we... More

They are extreemly welcoming and helpfull, and really treat you like friends ! We had problems booking a water taxi and they helped us from A to Z, they also accepted to postpone our booking due... Kayakers Cove offers hostel-style lodging in the main building and a couple of separate cabins, but the real attraction is the location well away from Seward near the mouth of Resurrection Bay. You'll need to use a water taxi to get there and back. The beauty of the location is seen in the surrounding forest which grows up the steep... More

Kayaker's Cove is a fantastic little hideaway near Seward, Alaska. It's an annual trip for myself and friends. It's inexpensive, the owners, Mike and Raylene O'Connors, are fantastic people who make your stay comfortable and safe. It is a wonderful place to show out of state visitors some of the most beautiful views in Alaska. I can't recommend it enough!... More

Stayed for 5 nights in June on a dive trip in a party of 8 friends; the weather was great, sunny and warm for most of the time and the views were simply breathtaking. Yes, it's rustic; the water is from a waterfall, the loo is a long drop outhouse that can get a bit whiffy (but it's practically in... More

I took my parents to Kayakers Cove for an overnight stay in August. The owner, Greg, saw to our every need. I would suggest renting kayaks through this facility. The equipment is in great shape and the price is right at around $30 per day. Bring wood and a lantern. The kitchen has almost everything you need. I would definitely... More
