Tucked away and up the road from downtown Seward, Jan's B&B is a fantastic spot to relax, meet other travelers, and enjoy the quiet of Alaska. The room is comfortable, private, and clean. Jan is a wonderful host, with a warm demeanor and plenty of ideas; she made my brother and I feel very welcome. We appreciated all the little... More

We were two mature couples spending two nights in Seward. Glacier Creek Lodge was a wonderful stay. Jan was a great host, very professional with a great personality. She became a friend in just two days. Rooms were very nice and we really liked the away from town location. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent 12 nights in Alaska at the end of August into the beginning of September. We spent all nights except 1 in B&B's. Jan was a great hostess, good conversations at end of each day was very welcome, as we sat in the common room. Our room also excellent, with fridge & microwave outside room for our use. The breakfasts were self serve, with everything you could possibly want.

We stayed at Jan's Glacier Creek Lodge for 4 nights and we're so appreciative of our hostess and the comfort we felt in her home. Our accommodation was top of the line, with a huge king size bedroom, an extra large private bathroom. down the hall was an extraordinary great room and kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with everything we... More

This place is super clean, warm and cozy. The details clearly shows that the owner cares about her guests and wants them to have the best experience. We arrived more than 3 hours later than planned, but Jan was forgiving and waited for us. The location was slightly far from Seward, but that also meant a possibility to see aurora... More

We were 2 friends traveling so we booked the cheapest basic room here. However there are larger rooms available depending on your budget. And everyone has access to the upstairs living room area and kitchen. At first we weren't sure how this communal kitchen setup would work in the mornings, but no problems at all. We enjoyed our time chatting... More

Unfortunately, we only stayed two nights at this B&B. The entire place was impeccable and the beds were soooo comfortable. The kitchen/living area was very relaxing with a great view of a mountain (when it wasn't raining which Jan can't control). It was our anniversary and Jan was incredibly sweet and suggested a local bakery and picked up a cake... More

What a great, quiet and restful place to stay! Beautiful, clean, comfortable and friendly! Jan is helpful (beyond the call of duty), and provides a delicious, fresh assortment of items for your self-serve breakfast. We cannot recommend this establishment enough.
