beautiful room & bathroom , an enormous kitchen we could use (and free range organic eggs offered) , beautiful view while we had breakfast / dinner or just chatted to the owner or guests. The owner is knowledgeable, fun and a great hostess. You couldn't ask for a better place.

The lodge was built for B&B with large living room and thoughtfully stocked kitchen for guests to use. We had the luxury of a nice quiet resort but paying a lot less than staying in the motels at Seward. It is only 6 miles from the Seward downtown and very convenient to nice hiking trails. The view from the house... More

We recently had a wonderful 2 night stay in the upstairs king room at Glacier Creek Lodge. Jan is a very welcoming hostess. The king room was quiet and provided everything we needed. Having access to the kitchen and adjoining common room with the beautiful picture windows as well as the deck outside of our room made our stay perfect!... More

Our host Jan was accommodating of our schedule, since we got in later in the evening. The B&B is just outside of Seward with fabulous views out of every window, especially the common area. The room was clean and very comfy, with nice blackout curtains to help us sleep in longer during all the daylight. Breakfast is DIY but there... More

My son and I stayed at Glacier Creek Lodging in late May of 2015. Slightly early for the season, there was no one else staying at the time. We took the downstairs room with two twin beds and private bath; perfect for a Mom and 11 year old child or for a family with two children if they were to... More

This was a perfect place to end my Alaskan vacation. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is open and the common area has a great view. Easy to find, just a few miles out of downtown, but you feel like you are hours from civilization. Jan was a great host. And the bed... I hadnt slept that good in months.... More

Located in a woodsy area, just ten minutes from Seward, this was a very quiet location. Our room was large and comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The wi-fi was very fast and strong. We had a private door to the balcony outside. The house was designed by Jan as a B&B, and it is full of beautiful... More

One of the best B and B's we've ever stayed in. Jan a gracious and charming host. Beautiful house located in forest area just outside Seward. Room spotless, comfortable and spacious. Upstairs kitchen and dining area has glorious views of snow covered mountain. Wide range of foods available to prepare own breakfast at leisure. We were fortunate to see a... More

Jan's home is gorgeous, the photos don't do it justice! We took full advantage of the kitchen and cooked several meals during our stay. I think I researched just about every hotel, hostel and B & B in Seward before my trip and was very pleased I picked this lodge. Spotlessly clean and very peaceful. Jan was available but not... This is a must place to stay when you are in Seward. It was such a pleasure to go to this B&B after a long day in and around Seward. Jan is an excellent host and we enjoyed talking with her and learning more about the area. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean. We loved the open kitchen and... More
