Stayed total of 3 nights, found the "A" framed cabin delightful and VERY CLEAN! We were lucky to have a lake side cabin. Prettiest lake we've ever seen, white & turquoise water.. Very good heating system for cabin and immediate hot shower. Enjoyed waking up on the 2nd floor overlooking the lake out of our big 2nd floor window. Wish I could have stayed there FOREVER!
We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Seward and Kenai Fjords. The property was beautiful with the cabins having an amazing view. The cabins are well stocked and between the bed upstairs and the two beds downstairs, there was plenty of options for sleeping. The owner and his daughter (I am assuming) were very nice and helpful. It was great to have laundry onsite with a dryer that ran long enough to completely dry your clothes! The fire pit was great and the ability to buy firewood at any time was so convenient. The only “complaints” we had was the upstairs bed was rather uncomfortable, the mattress was not great quality. Given the small space, Its probably by necessity more than by choice. I ended up sleeping on the futon downstairs which was very comfy. The stairs in the cabin are steep and I could see people with mobility issues having trouble. Navigating them at night for a restroom run is a bit challenging, however, sleeping on the comfy futon solves that issue. The cabins are closer together than I hoped, so annoying neighbors can quickly ruin an otherwise peaceful evening. Beautiful property, and nice to be outside of town. We would stay here is we visited again.…
Our family used this cabin as a base to explore Seward. Gary was extremely helpful in helping us book a boat tour of Kenai Fjords National Park. The cabin itself was comfortable and felt very new. We enjoyed the views of the lake and the use of the firepit. The grounds, the cabin, and the customer service were all 5 stars!
The lakeside cabin has a spectacular view. I stayed in cabin 2 and it was was very clean and had amazing amenities including a Keurig with k cups. Bathroom and shower looked brand new. There is a fire pit right outside the cabin on shore about 15 to 20 feet from the water. There are also kayaks you can check out from the office. Thirty minutes outside of Seward, but with a place this great you don't need to go anywhere if you bring the groceries with you.
We had the entire property for a long weekend wedding. There are a variety of accommodations from RV parking, camping, and well stocked cabins. Not only is this place beautiful, there is such attention to details, comfort and fun littles extras! We were so impressed with all the amenities, the privacy of the cabins and all the extras that are provided. The main lodge is beautiful and Gary and his crew are so welcoming, helpful and the absolute best hosts. Thanks Gary, for all your help with the wedding prep and being there when we needed you! It was a fantastic weekend enjoyed by all and and we'll cherish the memories!
