My husband, 10-year-old daughter, and I visited Seward for a couple of days right after Independence Day - a beautiful part of Alaska. We stayed at the Treehouse Apartment at Beach House Rentals. Basically a studio apartment with a bed on the main level and a twin up in the loft plus a futon that can be another bed. It... More

I am happy that you enjoyed Seward. First off, let me apologize for not responding to your email. When guests have questions, I have always been contacted by phone and being the day after the 4th of July, I had not checked my emails. By the time I saw your email, you were gone and I thought you must have... More

Our group spent only one night in the Beach House #2 and the Tree Fort House. We couldn't have been more pleased. It was a rainy, windy night and we were snug and warm in beautiful houses nestled in the trees. Clean, fully equipped and modern, but with a real Alaska charm. We especially loved the tree house, up high... More

Travel Advisor has this place listed under it's B&B section, iris NOT a B & B. Basic rental that appears to have declined in up keep inside and out. Pics speak to present day condition. All units are empty except for our unit. Inside is clean but very dated. Only basic kitchen supplies. You need to stop at Safeway in... More

Our stay at the Beach House was the perfect fit for our family of four. It offered great beach access and was just far enough out of town to be a relaxing location. I appreciated the kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own food and not simply rely on dining out. Very comfortable and we will surely stay here... More

My family group of 13 spent 3 days in Seward enjoying : Mt. Marathon hike, Kenai Fjords boat trip to Holgate Glacier, Alaska Sealife Center, Sunny Cove kayaking, Rays restaurant, and Seward Brewing!! It rained everyday but that didn't stop us from enjoying the sights. The cabins are a few miles from town and posed a little problem getting to... More

Really enjoyed our two nights here. Short walk to the public beach. Nice and quiet spot only a very short drive to town. Seemed much nicer than the big facility at Lowell's point. There was plenty of room inside for 4 adults plus an infant as long as you didn't spend all day inside.

This is a great place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. I didn't want to stay right in Seward, so I found this place on the Internet. The owner is very nice, and the little house we stayed in was just great. I highly recommend it!!

Cute place. Beach is a very loose term...it was clean and quaint. You are not within walking distance to Seward. The road to the Lowell's Point is very rough and you won't be driving very fast. Seward is a great place to visit. There weren't that many choices for rental homes. This one was good for the price, but I... More

Beach House #1 had a pretty comfy bed, the loft is a pretty tight space but fine for 13YO daughter, the kitchen was basic but had enough for us to eat in a night or two plus a full fridge. But the location was outstanding, as it is right next to two of the major kayak adventure companies, next to... More

One positive is that there is a full size refrigerator with fre.ezer for our fish we caught in Homer. The negatives: advertised as having Internet, but NO INTERNET connection. Kitchen is not very well stocked, no cutting board, crummy knives, etc. No games provided for rainy days since there is no tv. Lots of foot traffic noise from upstairs unit.... More
