I booked this trip as a surprise honeymoon for my husband as a wedding gift. We got married in the Caribbean stayed in a 5* hotel and honestly it was terrible the service, the staff, we were broken in to so many issues so I was glad of having the honeymoon to look forward to but worried after the last all inclusive went so wrong. Anyway we returned yesterday from staying at Bluesun Neptun for 5 days and we had a lovely time. The hotel is nestled in front of the huge mountains and sea, yes there are a few other hotels next to it which depending on where your located you can be slightly over looked but the views were still amazing from our room. We stayed in room 110 front facing sea and pool views with a large balcony. The room was immaculate, cleaned every day. There wasn’t a kettle in the room which would be my only complaint I quite like a morning brew on the balcony but you could get one from the restaurant so wasn’t the end of the world. The hotel grounds were very looked after. I’ve seen a few comments regarding the staff being rude or miserable we didn’t see this at all, they just work very hard but we were never waiting for anything drinks were served quickly. In the restaurant it’s buffet food all very similar ever day, I’m a veggie and managed to find enough to eat. Breakfast was good, hot food, cereals, pancakes, pastries, and fresh omelettes made with your choice of ingredients. There’s lunch between 12-2 snacks at 3.30 to 4.30 and evening buffet from 7pm. Lunch and evening buffet are very similar, salads, pizza, chips, pasta dishes, rice, meat and fish options, cheeses, desserts and ice creams all very good. Drinks were served on a self serve pump wine, beer and soft drinks inside the restaurant. The drinks at the pool bar that was part of the all inclusive was limited a few cocktail options, spirits, wine, beer and I think maybe gin as well. I would like to have seen more cocktail options but you still get your monies worth. In the lobby bar there is a separate menu that you can order from and pay for better quality drinks and cocktails ie pina colada (highly recommend) The views are spectacular there is seating area on top of the restaurant with deckchairs and table and chairs which is a real sun trap, plenty of seats around the pool but they do get taken quite quickly so we only used them once but if sitting around the pool is your thing I’m sure you will find a spot. The beach is directly outside the hotel, very lovely calm water there isn’t any free sun lounges you have to pay so we just took towels, it is a pebbled beach so if you want to swim bring swim shoes we forgot and it was painful also bring your goggles and snorkels to see the fish. We hired a car to get around the car park is pretty small and annoyingly people park in front of your parking spot our flight was through the night when we went to Leave at 2am someone had parked in front of our car, luckily my husband managed to get out with our damaging anything but be mindful of where you park. Things to do around, there is the sky walk 7 minutes away, it was closed when we were wanting to visit but you can actually see it from the hotel if you look closely at the top of the mountain, they do excursions from the hotel but we didn’t use as we could drive our self, we hired a boat and went parasailing there is a water sports team just to the side of the hotel on the beach front highly recommend. Over all we had a great stay and even though the drinks are limited you do get your monies worth it’s a budget holiday I spent just over £600 for 5 days 4 nights stay and we had a better time than the £5000 Caribbean holiday we have just had so it’s definitely worth it. Would love to return in the future.

This hotel was beautiful, immaculately clan, maid service every day. All staff were friendly and courteous and multilingual unlike me. The food as a veggy was awesome it was never rationed never ran out. Of course you don't get branded spirits on all inclusive you never do for the £800 per person I paid they would go out of business! I loved gym rooms airconned. Enjoyed peace didn't miss kiss me quick entertainment or worse animal exploitation. Beach shaley but a good pair beach shoes sorted. In short or not excellent. Only downside was terrible weather 3 days thunderstorms but I can't blame hotel for that lol

Had a really nice week's stay here with my niece, we both enjoyed the food plenty of options even for a vegetarian like myself although it was at times not hot enough. The rooms are nice and modern with plenty of storage and extra pillows , the rooms were very clean upon arrival but not cleaned properly for the duration of our stay, small bathrooms but lovely powerful shower. The drinks weren't the best but that's often the case in all inclusive we found the staff to be friendly and helpful especially reception staff.Pebble beach just a few steps from the hotel, lovely clear water bring your snorkeling mask.lovely pool area always busy but you can find a sunbed and gorgeous mountain views which I miss seeing, Very quiet in the evenings usually a singer on but only a 15 minute walk out to a few bars nearby, we stayed in the annexe building on the 5th floor which involved alot of steps and no lift so if you have mobility issues then the main building does have a lift.We had a lovely relaxing week here and enjoyed Croatia and would like to thank the staff for their hard work and making our holiday one to remember.

On arrival hotel looked lovely, spotlessly clean. Rooms bright and clean lovely view. Staff not friendly at all. Pool bar staff very miserable, I know they work long hours and it’s the end of the season but still a smile would not go amiss. Soft drinks very disappointing. Cheap coke, orange etc. drank tonic water for the week. No fridge in your room Was woken up by a dog which was left alone in the room 2 doors down, whining and barking. I had to ring reception. Does not state anywhere on the site dogs are allowed. Saw a few at the hotel. Food mediocre, plenty of choice but quite bland. Would not go back or recommend

Just back September 18 th 2023 from Bluesun Hotel Neptun Split Croatia. When you arrive at Split airport and your through Customs and have your luggage you then go across a covered bridge then turn right to your coach. We we’re actually on a mini bus with 10 other people it took 1hour 35 minutes. We had asked for a high floor and we’re on the 8 th .The room was clean,2 single beds together.Plenty of drawers although some were narrow and small, there was even drawers in the bottom part of the bed.In the wardrobe the area for hanging clothes could have been longer .there were six hangers, but I always take my own.The safe is high up but free to use, there is also a hairdryer and TV . 2 chairs and a table on the balcony,no line to dry costumes. We had taken our Sun lounger pegs so we used them to hang any wet clothes on the rail by the balcony. The bathroom was clean only no shelf in the shower area to put shampoo bottle etc,but not a problem. There is one shelf above the sink for toothbrushes etc. You get your pool towels from the Gym,which if you get the lift down it is -1 you press for the pool area. You come out of the lift pass the toilets and the Gym is to the right you pay 10 euros per towel which you get back on your last day.The Restaurant is in the same area straight in front of the gym.No rush for sun beds and the Sun terrace is lovely if you want to be in a more quite place. The pool is great it has a ledge at the bottom of the pool in some areas next to the wall, it must be so you can stand up where ever you are in the pool ! Snack time is 3.30 till 4.30 pm Chips, ham ,cheese ,bread, and ice cream with cornet. You go pass the bar for these towards the tennis courts and down the side and around the next corner. The Restaurant we found soo disappointing COLD PLATES all the time WHY ?The food was never really hot.The one toaster is through the other dining room where you can get an Omelette ,the only hot food for sure. The girl doing the Omelette s needs to be told to SMILE .I said Good Morning every day to her with not a single smile or nod of the head back !!! Now the PoolBar,the worst bar staff ever! They all need to be told to SMILE and actually speak to the customer as well as serving them ,no good morning,no banter at all .They just do not know how to communicate, and it was with all nationality. The bar is the place people talk ,not here!! Even when they give you the wrong drink ,there’s no expression on their face saying sorry.

Staff were helpful at reception, accommodated a request I had sent previous re mobility issues and no lift in annexes. Friendly in the bars if you are polite to them. DOGS are allowed to stay in the hotel, this isn’t made known, we’re woken up most mornings by barking and howling as the owners locked the dog in the room. I’ve never known it in all my travels, there were at least three. This should be made known on their site at the very least due to allergies etc . WiFi- ok I’m room but not anywhere else. It’s best feature is it’s spotlessly clean, cannot fault that at all. Drinks- awful, they really need to up their game. Only AI on offer is red/white wine, beer (watered down) whisky, vodka or gin. No cocktails unless you pay. Food- you didn’t have to starve, there’s something you could find but it’s well below standard. Only good part was breakfast. Tea/ coffee in lounge bar is chargeable. No fridge in rooms, if you need to store meds in a fridge they must be kept in receptions fridge. No bottled water provided anywhere so you have to take plastic cups up with you. No tea or coffee facilities in rooms Lots of storage tho. Beds and pillows fabulous! Walls are paper thin. A lot of customers are not mindful of noise they make. If it wasn’t the dog waking us up it was the people being extremely loud stopping us from sleeping Beach- is not accessible without hard soled shoes, it’s large stones. Beds are 10 euro even tho it’s a private beach. Pool is big enough, plenty of beds. Take a towel with you. Overall, it was the company we were with that made this holiday, the hotel is below par 3 star. I wouldn’t return nor would I recommend it to anyone, I’d say In it’s current format, go elsewhere. The area Is beautiful, just avoid bluesun hotels and opt for the tui blue or another.

Hotel was spotlessly clean ! Food was good and plentiful! Views from pool were stunning over looking mountains behind , sea in front and olive lined walkway into Tucepi. Drinks were okay. Another location to drink outside other than the pool bar would be nice! Staff were pleasant enough, but wouldn’t say friendly. However they work very long hours and when you see how some people talk to them and the manner in which they ask for drinks all day without a please or thank you it’s no surprise!,, Lovely hotel for a quiet holiday, in a beautiful location . Ignore the negative reviews ! Would love to return!

So disappointed to say the least. I ignored the negative reviews but wished I hadn't. Hotel clean and room was clean and decent size. Bed was very comfortable and slept no problem, pool was great and plenty of sun beds available. These were the only positives. Plenty of food options but everything was bland, cold and disgusting and had to eat out just to have a decent meal. Food choices were repetitive, the drinks were vile and for the money paid for all inclusive its just not worth it. I have never been so bored with the lack of entertainment. There is a strip of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops but again not much to get excited about. The beach is nice and very close by but they charge 10 euro for a sun lounger and was very crowded. Staff were not great and most quite stand offish and not friendly at all. I actually couldn't wait to come home and everyone we spoke too was also bored and felt the same and disappointed. Please don't waste your hard earned money. Its just not worth the disappointment.

Fine hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. Rooms were nice. Nothing special, but nice and kept cleaning every day. Pool area was beautiful and there was enouhg space for every one. Beach is just near (10m) from hotel. But why not 4☆ experiement? Because of the food. Food was absolutely horrible. Problem is not my taste. I like foods from many countries, and like to teste new things. But this was really something bad. I kinda undesrtand that hotel wants to serve peoples from many different countries, so there is 16 many many different foods. But please Neptun, go for quality first then after quality you can incrase the amount of different foods. 8 good quality food is better than 25 s@#*t food.
