Location
Great location, immediate access to the beach outside the hotel, plenty shops, restaurants and bars outside the hotel on the beach walkway. Sunbeds are 50kn, umbrella 30kn outside the hotel. If staying all inclusive you can take drinks to the beach just take your cups back. There is an inflatable waterpark on the beach just a dhort walk up from the hotel.

Pool
Great pool with plenty sunbeds and umbrellas. Guests do tend to put towels down from 7am so you may need to set your alarms. If you get a sunbed without an umbrella you can ask a member of staff at reception to call someone and they will try and find one for you.

Rooms
Rooms ok, showers are really small. We asked for more pillows from reception which turned up within 1hr. Plenty draws/wadrobe space for unpacking. No extra for safe.
Couple issues with room the beds are twin beds pushed together with 2 single sheets. I was expecting a double bed. The safe if you are under 5ft 4 is in a bad location as too high up in the wadrobe. The hairdryer is also in a bad location as too high up.

All inclusive
Plenty food choices for everyone

Breakfast: fruits, yogurt, cooked breakfast, cereal, pastries, tea/coffee and soft drinks
Lunch/Dinner: chips, pizza, fish, meat, salad, pasta, deserts
Snack bar: this seemed to be the same every day, chips, hot dogs, ham, cheese, tomato, pretzels, biscuits and ice cream

Couldn't really understand what was/wasn't included on all inclusive alc0ohol wise. The reception bar was different to the pool bar but no menu to show what was included anywhere. Soft drinks were ok.

Only downfall was the duration from split airport varies anywhere from 1hr 30 - 2hr 30 traffic depending. This is outside of the hotels control though.

The hotel is situated on the most stunning coastline, the view of which we were able to enjoy on the coach trip from the airport. The hotel is very contemporary, the rooms in the annexes are bright and modern. There is an hairdryer in bathroom but take your own toiletries none provided except hand soap. Also take your own kettle and tea/coffee if you like a drink in a morning(you can get milk from the pool bar).If you have walking difficulties the annexes are not for you ,make sure you book a room in the main building where there is a lift.
Plenty of room to sunbathe, either around the pool or up on a terrace. The sun loungers were comfortable and looked new and plenty available. There was two bars for drinks,we are gin and vodka drinkers and both were fine.Tea and coffee you serve yourself via a machine on the counter at the pool bar.If you ask for tea or coffee in the lobby bar you have to pay for it and you can get premium drinks and proper cocktails at a cost.
The dinning room again is very modern and spacious,it consists of two big dinning areas. You serve yourself beer ,wine and soft drinks, none of which we had any problems with. The food was nicely cooked and well presented, plenty of choice, meat, fish, vegetables ,pizza, chips, pasta and salad and at night there was a special roast separate from the main choices in the second dinnnig room. The plates were warmed for the food but if you wanted your food red hot there was a microwave in the second dinning room.
The hotel offered excursions, and we found all the staff very helpful and pleasant.Straight out the back of the hotel you are on the beach and promenade, here you can book boat trips, change money, shops, bars, atms and the marina.Carry on walking to the end of the prom and up some steps and along pavement for a few minutes and you are in Podgora, another beautiful little bay.Tucepi is a walkers paradise on the prom is a board showing different routes up into the hills,we did one up to postup and the views were amazing. We also walked to Makarska a couple of times, from the hotel go out the main doors turn right then left up the road and you will see a gravel path near a small white building back of Tui blue follow up to top of hill and walk along the coast and through the trees.
Reading the reviews before went we were worried but we had had a wonderful holiday, very chilled and relaxed in an amazing location.

Just left hotel after 1 week stay, very satisfied with stay and feel hotel is appropriately rated and good for price we paid. The location of hotel is perfect just opposite beach and promenade walk which has bars, shops etc all the way along to marina which is lovely.

Beach is stoney but beautiful and beach shoes are a defo!

Hotel is very clean and room was cleaned with fresh towels every day. No fridge or coffee/tea facilities in room however most times of day you can help yourself to coffee and tea from pool bar.

The breakfast choice is really good and has fresh eggs and omelets cooked for you. Lunch and tea choices are good and food is well cooked but with any all inclusive the choice can be repetitive. We ate out a couple of nights, one at bistro tenis almost next to hotel and one at gustari (ask for table on beach, perfect setting) both meals out where lovely.

The only downside to hotel is the drinks on the all inclusive, no Diet Coke available and coke that is available is flat. The spirits are like a cleaning product, even if you buy your own mixers to try to make them better. I have drunk local spirits on lots of all inclusive holidays but these where really poor.

The beer quality was ok and the wine manageable at a push.

Staff all where pleasant and polite and work hard to keep the dining and pool areas clean.

Would return if drinks quality improved.

The hotel is spotless and the staff work so hard to cater for the guests.
Our room was modern and clean, the bathroom could have been modernised, shower door was broken and the toilet flush inadequate had to flush more than once each time it was used.
Towels changed every day and bedding changed midweek. The walls in the rooms must be wafer thin as you can hear conversations from the adjoining room.
Food in the restaurant was really good and varied, lots of choice.
The worst thing about our stay was the all inclusive drinks package, this was really poor, probably the worst all inclusive I’ve ever had. Beer was okay but the spirits choice consisted of vodka, gin or whiskey, the wine Consisted of white or red....this was barely drinkable, there was no rose or sparkling wine, although if there was this would probably be the same quality as the other wines. The mixers/soft drinks were awful. It seemed the only way to have a decent quality drink was to pay for branded drinks and branded mixers, one rum and coke plus gin and tonic was roughly £13 this could work out very expensive if you bought drinks each night Of your stay.
It seemed there wasn’t enough sun beds for the number of guests staying at the hotel, also if you weren’t at the pool for about 8am forget about a sun bed for the rest of the day, some people were putting towels on loungers from 6am.
Overall our family had a relaxing week away and the position of the hotel Is good, located at the quieter end of the resort.
The views across the Adriatic were stunning and the coastal road from Split to the resort (2 hours) is a lovely drive and the scenery helps the time pass.
A week stay at this hotel is very expensive and would recommend looking elsewhere to spend your hard earned money, I would not visit this hotel again although I would visit the country.

So transfer took about 2 hours. There was water on arrival, we needed it as forgot to take any on the coach. We were in room 613 in the main building, first appearance clean and tidy balcony with views of mountains. The room gets the evening sun. The bathroom is very small with a tiny shower. The beds are two singles pushed together, very comfortable but the sheets are too small for the beds and came off constantly revealing the mattress with no mattress protector. Cleaning every day if you want it, the maids are very noisy from 7 o’clock onwards.Often towels were not changed and bins not emptied. On the third day I was horrified to find a pair of dirty knickers not belonging to myself hanging on my towel rail, I took them to reception and did not even get an apology, just that it will be reported!!!The food was ok !! Pretty much the same every night. When I asked the reception staff about the ala carte restaurant they said it was in their other hotel down the road and they wouldn’t recommend it. We ate out on the front quite a lot and the food was very reasonable, but make sure you bring currency with you as the cash points charged ridiculous amounts. The drinks in hotel were very bad, the beer was nice but the wine and soft drinks were awful. The location of the hotel was amazing, the beach was stunning, stones but the sea was completely clear. There were enough sun beds and umbrellas for everyone.
Tucepi is beautiful with a great promenade!!!
As I’ve said location amazing but wouldn’t rush to stay in the hotel again.

Hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent. I would like to mention Ivanka who looked after our room she was brilliant. The food and drink was good for such a large amount of guests. My only moan was about the sunbeds. I managed to get one for one day in the eleven we stopped there because you would have to put your towel on during the night it would seem. This is a problem the management should be monitoring . Not suitable for elderly people too many steps for everywhere you go.

My friend and I have just returned from 4 nights at the Bluesun Neptun and we really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning although it is quite a distance from Split airport. The journey there took over 2 hours as the coach driver drove very slowly. The journey back took 1 hour and a half and I don't think it could have been done much quicker than that.

We were in room 505 which was incredible! The room is on the corner so the balcony looks out over the pool and sea but also has a great view of the mountains behind the hotel. The toilet leaked a little on our first evening but that didn't happen again during our stay although it didn't flush well (the water would often keep running). The walls were very thin so we were disturbed by our noisy neighbours on the first night but luckily didn't hear too much from them after that.

The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner were generally very good. The main options were different for every meal and there was plenty of choice so there was something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the desserts, they were always really tasty. I am normally a red wine drinker but it was awful so I switched to white wine which I quite enjoyed. The cocktails and spirits were very weak so after trying a couple I didn't have any more. Dinner didn't start until 7pm which I felt was a little late for families with young children.

The hotel seems to be very popular with families but we never had an issue finding a sunbed or enjoying the pool. The pool bar is open from 10am-11pm which I thought was really good and the afternoon snacks were quite nice.

The hotel has direct access to the beach and a lovely promenade which leads to various shops, restaurants and bars. It's worth noting that the beach is stony rather than sandy so I would strongly recommend taking beach shoes to protect your feet! (although you can buy them out there too)

We had an early pick up for our flight when we left and they very kindly put together a takeaway bag of breads, ham, cheeses and fruit to take with us.

Overall we had a fantastic time and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I felt it was really good value for money.

This year, for the second time in a row, we spent part of our vacation in the hotel-resort Neptun in Tučepi. Our stay was again pleasant and beautiful, thanks to the complete offer of the hotel. The rooms are clean, the maid cleaning every day, we stayed in the hotel annex, but I like that part even more than the central part of the hotel. The location is superb, right on the beach, with its own pool and free sun loungers and parasols. The offer is all inclusive, which means three main meals a day on a buffet basis, and a snack in the afternoon. Pool bar is open from 10 am to midnight, lobby bar from 8 am to 11 pm. All homemade drinks are free with three ready-made cocktails, or cocktails of your choice. A small remark is the breadth of the free cocktail list, I think more can be offered here. I also have no complaints in the food offer, although local specialties could be offered a little more imaginatively, which would certainly be interesting to foreign guests. The staff is perfectly friendly and at your service, including the reception and hotel managers, who take care of the hotel’s rating.
In any case, we warmly recommend the hotel, because we had a wonderful time, and I believe we'll return to it again.

Bluesun is in the most stunning of places, right on the Croatian coast in Tučepi. Tučepi is a quiet relaxed small town, minimal nightlife but enough for families with children, places to eat and shops are open late enough.

The hotel it's self is clean and well kept to an immaculate standard which was massively noticed and appreciated.

Hotel room again stunning and very clean. You have air con but you cannot adjust the settings and its a little noisy when trying to sleep.

We stayed on an all inclusive basis, this wasn't very good, the food for breakfast lunch and dinner was very repetitive and bland. Cold meats and soups every meal, strange combinations for lunch and dinner and not very seasoned. We ate out most days and skipped breakfast some days.
Staff in the hotel struggle with English which is fair enough as we are in croatia but they were quite rude and abrupt when trying to communicate with us. I am unsure if this is Croatian culture as we were met with this a lot with locals and buisness owners.
Don't hold the door open for anyone or expect it help open for you no matter how close you are, it will be left to close even if you have stuff in your hand, you won't be thanked for holding it open for others either. Please and thank you arnt really words used in croatia either and as a English person I found this odd.

Drinks on offer are not very nice, the orange and apple juice tastes like a cordial that hasn't been diluted, we would get a apple or orange juice and a water to dilute it. No branded drinks, and the spirits are Croatian and very different to world wide brands, we didn't drink on site because of this so ended up spending a lot more than expected to enjoy drinks of an evening.

The entertainment is minimal, aqua size every morning and then some children's pool games around 4pm, no interaction verbally though.
Evenings were very quiet and relaxed, a jazz band 3 times, and all finished by 9pm. We opted to go to the local bars which were good. Mainly a bar called micigan which have lovely staff.

Over all this hotel is stunning and is a good option for families with young children or older couples, but if you like a good animation team and hotel entertainment of an evening its not the place to go.

The pool is brilliant and nice and big, but there is no life guards and this is sign posted, if the was to be an issue you wouldn't be able to find a staff member to help as they are not around.

Snack bar...serves chips and biscuits, becomes very repetitive.

A weeks family holiday in beautiful Tucepi, the location of this hotel is just great, beautiful views and right on the beach, the food was plentiful and fresh , the pizza was lovely , we all enjoyed it, the drinks are not the best, but as wine and beer drinkers we were not bothered by the spirits, we enjoyed however the sparkling water and coffees on tap ! The staff were friendly when you used good manners, we did not come across anyone that was rude but as the week went on and we became more familiar to them we did get more smiles , the cleaning staff were excellent, very polite every morning and the hotel is immaculately clean every where you go and they all work very hard to keep it clean, the promenade at night is amazing to walk down, try the ice-cream, crêpes, kebab's , the children had corn on the cob and donuts from the local people who potter up and down the sea front who are so friendly, myself and my husband also had a wonderful massage on the sea front , very cheap and lovely ladies. The hotel entertainment, I would like to give a big thank you to Teodora who was delightful with our children and was genuine and kind to them and did lots of lovely activities with them, even after her shift had ended she stayed a few more minutes, she is what is needed, the other ladies who did mini club were good with the children at mini disco time and the kids loved them. The male entertainment coordinator, well that's another story , he is full of self admiration and loved prancing around , he played very loud music and sang out of key around the pool , he took aqua aerobics 2 times and twerked and shook himself all over the place it was like 18 to 30 holiday camp dance !! I am all for having fun but I've never seen this sort of aerobics, we laughed at him as he was so full of himself !! This is the only area that needs addressing clear announcement of what's next, no activities took place at the times stated on the schedule in the afternoon, just sitting around playing music ??? Please don't let this put you off as we really had a lovely time and at the hotel but feedback is good to make better experience for others .
