Hvala😊nice room,no 407. Clean, big balcony and nice view . 14 days with excellent service from all. Would like to thank Evelin in the breakfast service especially. Keep up the good work. We would like to recommend this hotel if going to the Makarska riviera. Its perfect placed in middle ot the center, close to bus, taxi, restaurants and beaches. Also easy to visit the neighbour towns Podgora and Makarska either by foot, taxi or bus. We have had a GREAT stay after corona "lock down" was fantastic with two weeks in "freedom" at such a great place. Hvala from Bent and Nina🇩🇰🇧🇻 Dobre dan👋😊
This is the second time I’ve stayed at Hotel Laurentum. Just like my first stay, this past one was excellent. Traveling during Covid has stressful bits but there was no stress here. Corresponding, via email, with the staff about reservations was easy. I arrived earlier than the normal check in time and they allowed me to check right in. The room was spotless and deep cleaned for Covid. Every staff member I came in contact with was kind, helpful and comfortable speaking to me in English. Evelyn was especially great. The breakfast was really good. Coffee, tea, a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, fruit, cereals (hot and cold), juices, yogurt, sausages, bacon and three different kinds of eggs. Everything was fresh and tasty. The grounds of this hotel are beautiful. From the outdoor patio areas, to the flowers, to the pool area…all are very well kept. The pool isn’t big but it’s a good size for cooling off. The lounge chairs are nice and you can get fresh pool towels each day. If you’re traveling with kids this is a good option. The staff is friendly and they have several games that families can borrow. There’s a small bistro at the foot of the hotel that serves solid food. It’s nothing fancy but it’s got good selections and the service is great. Again, Evelyn is really great. You can sit inside or outside. It’s a good people watching spot. You can’t beat the location. There is a bank, pharmacy, market, money exchange and gelato stand within 100 feet. It’s steps from the sea, restaurants, a playground, the marina and a gorgeous promenade. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. It’s worth it! I can’t say enough about both of my experiences at Hotel Laurentum. I will definitely stay again when back in Croatia.…
This year we have stayed twice in this wonderfully welcoming hotel, enjoying our early June visit so much that as soon as we got back we rebooked for late September. It may be called a small hotel room-wise but the accommodation they gave us was in no way small and exceeded our expectations both times. Everywhere feels spacious and airy and our pristine sea-view rooms had comfortable beds, immaculate carpeting and gleaming wooden surfaces. Breakfast was very good, more along “full German” lines but having plenty of variety to cater for all tastes. We were impressed by the a la carte evening meals we enjoyed on our second visit, with delicious, well-presented food and very good Croatian wines served at reasonable prices for a hotel of this quality. What we saw of the meals for the half-board option looked superior to those we have experienced in any other Croatian hotel and certainly worth considering at the end of the season when local eateries are closing. The Makarska Riviera is the most scenic of all the areas we have visited in Croatia and the weather in September, although not perhaps so reliable, suited us best. We do return to places, very rarely to a hotel, but staying at the Laurentum this year has been so enjoyable we would return again and again – a lovely hotel with exceptional staff and service, it’s in a class of its own. Many thanks, we have great memories of two brilliant holidays. …
Have just had a great week staying at this hotel located on the seafront in Tucepi. Set in stunning scenery it is within easy reach of local beaches. Rooms are clean and spacious, pool area is quiet and relaxing. We stayed half board and the food was excellent all week- there are also plenty of local restaurants on the harbour / beach front. Staff are a real asset - professional, friendly and accommodating. Thank you - we loved it. 😊
This is a medium sized hotel (less than 50 rooms) in Tucepi, quite a bit smaller than most around here. It caters mainly for independent German tour companies and is clearly geared up for them. We stayed in the Superior room with sea view which we highly recommend. It may be the only one of its type in the hotel, is on the third floor (it's no. 306), and felt like the best room in the hotel. The room itself is spotless and spacious with a large bed and seating area. It has a full sea view and a side view to the mountains because it is on the corner of the building. What it also has is a large terrace area with sun-loungers and a covered area with a large table and chairs - so you can get a tan and also avoid the sun if needed. Perfect. The hotel facilities were very good, all staff were friendly and helpful and bar prices weren't too expensive. We were also able to park in a hotel space which was essential as parking in Tucepi is at a premium. Breakfast is plentiful and there was quite a lot of choice although it was clearly set up for German tastes. Bacon every other day (hot dogs every day) and most of the cold meats were quite fatty (salami, etc.). More plain ham and bacon every day would have suited us a bit better. Having said that we recognise that the hotel has to cater for its key market and we certainly didn't starve. Key questions - would we stay again and recommend to friends? Definitely, and make sure you book the Superior with sea view, you won't be disappointed. The only caution would be if you are looking for a large pool - the pool isn't so big. BUT - the sea is only a view paces away and the beach is safe. Also, it was good value too!!!…
