The hotel looks way better on pictures than in the real life. It is pretty old and might require some renovation. The staff was not always friendly. The pool area is a bit dirty. The evening buffet was not very good, so we decided to eat in restaurants instead. Breakfast was quite good though. Also the rooms and the showers were very clean and tidy. The location is also very good. Overall we had higher expectations for this hotel. In our opinion it doesn't have a 4-star hotel quality.

WE were a small group of 13 "Saga seniors" and none of us really had much to complain about. Except the queues at breakfast. There seemed to be just one queue whether you wanted eggs or just fruit. It could have been easily remedied by having the egg queue going towards the bakery rather than along where the fruit, cereals and cold meats were. Lunches and dinners were no problem. The food was plentiful with a good choice. You would have to be really really fussy to find nothing to eat. No problems with sun loungers but it was middle of September. Big complaint about the pool was that no-one policed the "no diving, no ball games, no inflatables" rule posted at the pool. It was impossible to swim because of the huge inflatable in the pool, with no regard for anyone else. The location was good, and the walk along the promenade in the evening was a fitting end to a lovely day. Very clean and signs to wear masks (not everyone obeyed of course)

I booked this hotel only because of the swimming pool, because my son likes more swimming in the pool than in the sea. Well, that was a story of its own. No chance could you find a sunbed after the breakfast! I complained at the reception and said that I refuse to wake up before sunrise to reserve a sunbed, this is my holiday. The biggest mistake was that I booked this hotel for 2 weeks. After first day already I wanted to cancel the whole stay as we couldn't find any available sunbeds on any day of our stay. It was such a disappointment. The other huge factor for a terrible stay was the noise everywhere. Cleaning ladies in the morning, they started always at 7 a.m., banging doors, hoovering ... I complained about that as well, they said they will talk to them, yet nothing changed. No sleeping in the mornings and no sleeping in the evenings as guests would bang their doors constantly as sound isolation was really bad. There was no chance of going to bed around 22h, earliest you could think of sleeping was around midnight. For 2 weeks we were absolutely exhausted. And for such high prices, this was the worse holiday I have ever had. Complete waste of money. Regarding food, we had half board, breakfast and dinner. Food was very plain, I am vegan myself, I had to ask from the kitchen if they could prepare extra food for me. They did but it was again really simple. Long queues everywhere. If you want a relaxing holiday, do not book this hotel.

We booked at short notice, so not an awful lot of choice... Paid a lot of ££, but so be it for a holiday. The rooms were good - really clean, and REALLY comfortable beds and fab shower. Little balcony which was lovely, and a nice little view. Negatives... HUGE hotel, so always so busy. Food was absolutely appalling. Catering to people from all over the world and different ages, but so bad. Don't do all inclusive or half board - loads of other places to eat. And the loungers... Have to be up super early to reserve, specially if you want a parasol which we did. Need to find a way around that. So, plusses and minuses, but Croatia is wonderful so worth it.
