food excellent, location was ok, room was clean, but... the room was not suitable for a family with two kids.. booked for 6 nights, stayed just two..When we arrived they asked us did we say that we have two kids and we said yes, she said to us before opening the door that the room is really very small. We had one bed 160x200 and one additional bed so small that my kid wich is 4 years old could bearly sleep on it... the second and most worst thing was the view from our window.. we had no view, there was a big wall from the villa in front of us and nothing more.. we had no air in the room!! we asked the owner the same day to change the room but he couldn’t find us anything.. after two days in this room our son got sick and we check out..

This was my first time with my family in Tucepi. We have arrived in Villa Vinka and at the first sight you can feel hospitality by owner who serve you with domestic rakija ans dryed fruits. Accomodation is very good and suitable we were family woth one kid and it was very good. Location is very good close to the beach, bus station, markets and shops are close and hiking and biking tracks very close. Parling space is available and good. The best thing that i could experience here is great hospitality and very nice atmosphere in hotel where you can feel like hime. Food is excellent and very good taste. I will for sure come again to this place because my family and me had a very nice time and ejoy every moment of it.

We had the "Lux" Appartement with a great View on the Sea. Towels getting changed daily if you leave them on the floor. Vila Vinka is apx. 200m from the beach. If you are not looking for high quality food, go ahead. Breakfast buffet is absolutely meager. little choice. No fresh dishes. It was a complete disappointment. We hoped for local fresh ingredients, got instead cheap low price food. No fresh fruits, vegetables. No eggs, had to ask for it, they forgot every single time so I gave up ordering. No freshly squeezed juices, well simply put-no choice. We hoped at least for better supper, instead we got little portions and not so tasty food. We hoped for seafood and traditional meals but got instead disappointing meals with no concept behind it. Although this must not be automatically bad, it should at least taste fresh and like it was made with a little more effort. Instead we got the feeling that it‘s just giving ppl food to feed them and get rid of them fast. Very very unprofessional and disappointing. If you are looking for a cheap vacay with a way of getting your stomaches full-go ahead. Otherwise eat outside at the local restaurants. (What we did) We were okay with the whole staying because we are easy at accommodating but got to the conclusion that we could get more for the same money, somewhere else. „To travel is to eat“ - M. Saphiro You will always remember how the place made you feel. We felt disappointment because we think food is part of the country/place/people, especially since this is a family owned business.

Nice place looks like it's been recently renovated.......Well located and well priced . Parking is available just steps from apartment. Not too many steep steps to the room compared to other places I have been to. Very clean . Owner is friendly and attentive. ...Most rooms seem to have balconies. I would definitively recommend this place. Giuseppe and Maria

Our room was located on the third floor. No elevator but hey you only have to take your bags up once and back down again. Plus after eating the beautiful food there it was well worth the trip up the stairs to work the meal off :) The staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed communicating with them - half english and sign language but Renato the owner knew a bit of English and between ourselves we worked out what we needed. I loved Renatos father who always had a smile on his face! and Vinka you are an amazing woman who made our stay by her funny sayings and offering Rakia to us at all times of the day. Valentina you were an exceptional waitress and your smile is contagious. Our room was always clean and tidied daily and we felt like we at home. The meals in the restaurant were home cooked and I especially loved the lettuce done the Croatian way :) Your hospitality and helpfulness made my first visit to Croatia an exceptional one and one that I will never forget. The beach is located 2 mins walk and is a beautiful clean beach. I highly recommend to stay here if you like an authentic down to earth experience of genuine hospitality and friendliness. Miss you guys but we will be back :) Lou & Karen
