We booked a superior room on booking.com and got room 203 which was quite low on 2nd floor and balcony didn't have sidewalls separating from other balconies. The room was okay, nothing special. The bluetooth soundbar was a nice touch. As other guests were "reserving" sun loungers every morning with towels (and then leaving), then finding free sun loungers was a struggle every day. The beach is not private so others can come and rent sun loungers for a day also. Every evening there was live music ended by 23:00) which was really nice. Breakfast was good, lots of choice, order omelette to your liking and real coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc). The Pink Cricket beach bar lunch menu had lots of choice but dinner menu was less impressive, we mostly dined at nearby places on the promenade. Parking area was almost always full, sometimes we had to wait until someone left so we could take their parking slot. Compared to other hotels in the area (on the promenade) TUI Blue Jadran definitely looked the best with nicest surroundings.

Hi Eerik, our whole team was very glad to see that you have enjoyed the Bluetooth sound bar in your room, the breakfast served in our main restaurant, the live music on our terrace, lunch at the Pink Cricket and that you think that TUI BLUE Jadran is the best-looking hotel in our town. If you ever do us the honour of revisiting our hotel, please write in your booking request that you would like a room in a higher floor with a balcony that has sidewalls and we will do our best to provide you with it. The sun lounger issue and dinner menu are definitely two subjects that we will discuss internally to see what we could do to improve our offer. This season was a bit challenging due to a lot more of our guests arriving at our hotel with their private vehicles than in a "normal year", and we would like to apologise to you if you had to wait for a parking space to open for your car. Nevertheless, we would like to emphasise that we always offer assistance to all our guests that are seeking a parking space and that parking is 100% free at our house. We would like to thank you for the time you've invested in writing this well-thought-out text! Sunny greetings from Tučepi, Marko Visković, BLUE Guide Manager

We stayed at the Tui Blue Jadran w/c 26th June for 1 week...I wish it was longer as we had an amazing time!
We couldnt fault the hotel at all. Absolutly spotless. The location was perfect, especially the crystal clear sea! Was about an hour and a half from Split airport.
Our room (624) was on the top floor and we had stunning sea views (see photo from our room). We paid for a sea view and I emailed the hotel in advance to request a high floor.
The two swimming pools were one depth and lovely to swim in, plenty of sun beds available but the pool and also free to use at the beach to. Towels provided as well.
I used the gym which was small but very clean. Lovely running routes along the sea front. I also took part in aqua aerobics booking via the Tui Blue app.
We were half board and the food was fantastic. The orange juice at breakfast was so fresh, the bread (freshly baked on site) was lovely! So much choice. On most occasions we managed to get a table outside looking out to sea.
We had some drinks from the pool bar and also ate twice in the Pink Cricket near the hotel beach, good varied menu. We rented a kayak from the hotel, quite resonable at 18 euros. The evening enteratainment was very good to, musicians and once a DJ to, you can still have a conversation with the music going on in the background.
Just a short walk along the front you reach many bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a lovely harbour.
We hiked to Makarska one afternoon for lunch, it was quite challening at times through the forest but great scenery and views. We also got a taxi there one evening for a change of scenery. 14 euros in a taxi from the hotel.
If your thinking of booking please don't hesitate, this is proably one of the nicest hotels and areas we have ever been to. Croatia is a very beautiful country, we will be back!

Hi Victoria, To read that you have had one of the best holidays ever in our hotel was truly amazing! Thank you for your very kind words regarding the location of our hotel, your sea view room, the two pool areas, the availability of sun beds on the public beach next to us, the cleanliness of our gym and all other areas, the food and drinks we serve for breakfast and dinner, the evening entertainment and our country in general. We really do appreciate your generous support and hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in TUI BLUE Jadran in the near future. Kind regards, Marko Visković, BLUE Guide Manager

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days, and we absolutely loved our stay here. The room was big and spacious and had everything that you needed, the comments regarding the balconies are a bit baffling, as the plants do make them seem private, it really isn’t as bad as people have made it out to be on some reviews, and the view of the sea really was breathtaking, we were able to watch several beautiful sunsets during our stay.
The pools were also lovely to swim in, especially the activity pool as this was heated, the relax pool has a beautiful infinity view of the beach, great for watching sunsets. The beach was also great for snorkelling in the crystal clear waters (we recommend getting some sea shoes from tucepi for the pebbled beach.)
The food was also brilliant, there are so many different choices and everything is cooked fresh right in front of you, we highly recommend the stir fry at dinner, and the pastries at breakfast.
I had several sessions at the spa, which were really lovely, I would like to shout out to Tena at the spa, who provided a great hot stone message (one of the best I have had), and reflexology treatment. Tena remembered during my second visit for reflexology that I had tight shoulders, so she incorporated a shoulder massage into this treatment, this was a lovely gesture and super nice of her to remember this.
Parking was super easy and we were always able to get a space, the extra parking off site wasn’t needed when we stayed but it really isn’t far from the hotel.
The staff were attentive and always friendly, we were given a lunch bag to take away when we left as we were leaving too early to make breakfast, again this was a lovely touch.
The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that they stopped doing paddle boarding and kayaking halfway through our stay, and we were unaware of this so missed out. The breakfast times were also changed without any announcement (I think the changing seasons from September to October might be the reason), so one morning we were unfortunately late to breakfast as they closed at 10.30 rather than 11, and we were only able to take what was left over.
However, despite this we highly recommend this hotel and loved our stay here!

Absolutely loved this hotel and found it to be perfect for a short Summer getaway! Drive from Split airport took around 1hr 30 along the motorway but we drove back via the scenic route along the coast (1hr45 and much preferred that.
Check-in was a breeze and the Reception staff were so helpful and accommodating any time we popped back to ask a question.
We only booked a room with a carpark view as we planned to spend all of our time by the pool or on the terrace, both of which have amazing views. It was lovely to be sat on the terrace with a cocktail in the evening listening to the live musicians who were all fabulous. Room was just what we needed. Bathroom was lovely and very modern with a large shower rather than a bath which suited are needs perfectly. Aircon and wifi both worked well and without issue.
Breakfast was lovely and the outdoor tables have great views of the sea. At the time of our visit buffet was not self-service. Only slight complaint was that staff clearing tables and serving food were all a bit miserable and lacking in smiles which was a complete contrast to every other staff member that we encountered.
Pool and beach areas are fab and towels for sunbeds are provided free to guests. You have to be there first thing in the morning to get a sunbed by the infinity pool though and people did seem to be absent from their beds for hours at time so some clamping down on that would be to the benefit of other guests. Beds were always available by the other pool though.
We ate at the Pink Cricket beach restaurant twice, once for the BBQ which was lovely and once a la carte. Had an issue with steak first arriving overdone and then raw but the waiter dealt with it very well and offered a free dessert which we gladly accepted.
There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance and the walk along to the harbour is very pleasant. Makarska is less than a 10 minute drive away and worth a visit for some great scenery.
Carparking is a bit lacking for the size of the hotel but there was always a staff member on hand to try and accommodate us, moving bollards or asking delivery vehicles to move on a couple of occasions to squeeze us in. If you have to park on the road then it's only a short walk and really not an issue.
Would definitely return here in the future!

We are just coming to the end of a fabulous holiday. Our room was a junior suite with the most amazing view from 2 balconies, which meant we could enjoy the view from lying in bed or the shower! The hotel is immaculate and the staff work hard to keep everywhere spotless. The buffet has so much choice for dinner and breakfast. You can choose to relax by two pools or the beach which has such clear and still water. We had perfect weather which meant we had the pleasure of watching the sunset each evening. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a great time!

We have just returned home after a week at the Tui Blu Jadran. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We received a very warm welcome at reception and were delighted when we entered our room, room 218, a sea view room with a balcony .
The room was spotlessly clean and was kept so during our whole stay as were all the public areas of the hotel. There was a fantastic shower in the bathroom and two separate sinks which were very useful. Dressing gowns and slippers were provided along with a range of toiletries which were replaced daily. There was a kettle with plenty of tea and coffee, also topped up daily, a fridge containing a mini bar and a large safe.
We were on a half board basis and found both the breakfast and evening meal to be of a very high standard for buffet food. We didn’t try the a la carte or bbq.
There are two swimming pools and plenty of sun beds and parasols, we never had a problem finding a sun bed.
The staff are so helpful, friendly and professional especially those in the restaurant and on the show cooking stations.
We didn’t bother with the evening entertainment as we prefer to walk out after our evening meal along the promenade into Tucepi where there are shops, bars and restaurants.
My only disappointment was that our room had a partially obscured sea view because of the trees in front of the hotel. A higher floor room would have been perfect.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked to return next year.

Tui Blue Jadran is a very nice hotel, with two big swimming pools and a very nice beach, right in front of the hotel. There is a beautiful terrace with lounges and sun beds, making it perfect place for just relaxing and watching the beautiful surroundings, especially in the time of sunset.
Overall, hotel is very clean, room was always cleaned while we were having breakfast, the housekeeping was extremely fast, a big thanks to them.
The food selection for breakfast and dinner is large, you have live cooking stations, with very friendly chefs and waiters. No complaints, big thanks to them for their effort.
The room is spacious with modern design. The view (sea-side) is beautiful, but also to the mountain side, you have a nice view. So you can't go wrong with any of the rooms.
Still, there are few areas that should see an improvement. First, the swimming pools, which are opened only for hotel guests. But we also noticed, that some people, who were not hotel guests, were using the pool. We have mentioned this to the security, and he handled it nicely and asked people to leave. I believe here there should be more control on who is accessing the hotel property. I understand that it is difficult, because hotel is connected to the public beach, but I think there should be some control.
Second, jumping in the swimming pool. Signs clearly show that jumping is not allowed, but some children were still jumping. I would expect that security will ask them to stop immediately, not only after we asked him to.
Third, the lady receptionist at the check out was very un-interested in guests. We felt really bad, not even being asked how was our stay??!! Was everything okay, etc?? The only thing she said is: your room number, how much did we have to pay and how would we like to pay, not asking if we need any help with the luggage, nothing....for a luxury hotel like this, this is not acceptable.
We wished we had the same receptionist when we arrived, she was very nice, welcomed and explained us everything. Big thanks to her.
And lastly, no one helped us with our luggage when we were leaving. The concierge was just there standing at the door, without asking if we need any help, nothing was proactive from them. Really disappointed in this regards.
We will be back, but hopefully, they improve few points.
Thank you.

Hi 687mitjae, to be honest, the first regular season after two years marked by COVID-19 has been a challenge for us, but it is nicely written texts like yours that keep us going! Thank you for your amazing rating and very kind words regarding the cleanliness, the food selection we offer and your spacious, modern room with a beautiful sea view! We were delighted to see that you’ve had a great time at our house and would like to thank you for the understanding you have showed in regards to the mishaps that happened during your stay. We would also like to show our appreciation for your points of criticism, we are sure that we will use them to make your next stay absolutely perfect. The swimming pool situation and the two unpleasantnesses you’ve had with our reception staff will be analysed in order to ensure that they never happen again and we would of course like to apologise to you because they have happened in the first place. We here at TUI BLUE Jadran always strive to provide the best service possible and as you can see in other reviews, we usually manage to do so. This is why we very much regret that we haven’t performed in accordance to our usual standards in your case, and are positive that we will do better during your next visit! Thank you once more for your great support! Kind regards, Marko Visković, BLUE Guide Manager

We booked their superior room for 2 with a seaview and a balcony for 330€ a night. Firstly when we arrived they had no parking space and we had to drive up a hill on a gravel road and park there, with no secure and no private parking. Then we went to the room and it was nothing like the pictures. We had a viwe of the pool and 100 people sunbathing there 10 metres from our balcony, also the pictures suggest that you have a private secluded balcany, but ours was linked with the next rooms and blocked by a plant. This room is not worth 100€ per night, not 330€. Also the balcony is rusted, the rooms is not even close to being luxorious as 5 stars should sugerst, it is small and the bathrom is miniature. Then we complained with the manager that this is not the room that we booked, but was told that they are full, that we can not change rooms, but that it is true that all the rooms are not like the pictures. Then it was suggested that we could stay in this room for a day, pay 330€ for it, then maybe we could change the rooms if they become free. We told them not to bother and we left. This is a disgrace, we were not even offered a discount, a free diner or anything for ruining our vacation by giving us the room that we did not book. They are liers and they do not deserve even 3 starts. A pathetic experience.

Dear guest, we have to say that we were very sad to read your and your partners review on this site, especially since you both have written your texts after spending only a couple of hours in our hotel. Since I was the manager, you spoke to, I would like to use this opportunity and tell our side of the story for the Tripadvisor community. Thinking back on the whole discussion I believe that there were probably some misunderstandings created because of the language barrier and I do apologize if I didn’t express myself clearly enough. What I have been saying to you and what I would like to repeat again here is that you have received the room type that you have booked (Superior Double Room with Balcony and Sea View). After all, your attached photo to this review provides a clear depiction of the view from your balcony and if that is not a textbook example of a sea view, then we don’t know what else it could be described as. Also, I tried to explain to you that the room was the exact size as advertised and that it has all of the amenities listed on the booking website. I also tried to tell you that the photo on the booking site is a sample photo taken from one room of that type and that not all of the rooms of the same type can be at the exact same position in the building. After all, superior sea view rooms are on different floors, different sides of the building etc. and one cannot expect that all of them can have the same angle like on the sample photo. Unfortunately, during the conversation it was very hard to explain this to you since you’ve allowed your emotions to get the better of you and had left in the middle of my sentence a couple of times. Our hotel was at that moment fully occupied and already almost fully booked for the entire month of August, so we were not able to change your room on the day of your arrival, but since we always try to please all our guests and create nice experiences for them, I went into the back office with our reception manager and we have invested almost an hour shifting rooms so that you could get your wished position on the next day. After we’ve finalized this long-lasting process, during which we’ve had to put all our other obligations aside, I have called you to provide you with an option of getting out of this very unpleasant situation. We offered you a room with your preferred position that you could move into on the next morning. However, you have decided to leave our hotel and we have contacted the site via which you have booked your room and assured a 100% free cancellation for you. It is our opinion that we have to repeat one thing clearly in order to definitely avoid any confusion – you have received the exact room type that you have booked. The balcony might not have been to your liking but it is not rusty, it is old fashioned because the conservation experts have requested it to be that way. Our hotels exterior is namely protected as a cultural monument of Croatian tourism architecture (which can be checked on the web site of Ministry of culture) and we were not allowed to change it during the great renovation of 2017. For this reason, one side of the hotel is divided by walls and the other by plants and this characteristic does not indicate a different room type. We are very well aware that personal tastes differ and we do understand that you may feel that the room was not worth the money you have paid, but on the most popular internet booking site, as well as here on TripAdvisor and all other reviewing platforms you can find more than 1000 texts from reviewers that were more than delighted with our accommodation and hotel in general. Furthermore, on the mentioned internet booking site, on which you have made your reservation, you can see that our hotel has an overall rating of 9,5 out of 10 based on 812 reviews from guests that stayed with us through this booking platform. This is the highest hotel rating in this region and also one of the highest among all of the hotels in Croatia. Since you have received the room, you have booked, we didn’t deem it necessary to lower the price or provide you with a complimentary dinner – if anything this would be unfair to all of our other guests and would make it seem as if we agree with your opinion. Regarding the parking, it is true that you had to drive your car up a gravel road to our secondary parking lot and we would like to use this opportunity to apologize to you if this was an inconvenience. We’ve rented this expanse in order to provide enough parking spaces for all our guests in this very demanding season. In a “normal year” most of our guests would be arriving by plane and then car/bus transfer, but because of the pandemic almost all our guests are now arriving with their cars. Because of this we wanted to do the responsible thing and provide each and every one of them with free parking space. On the other hand, we have to state clearly that our secondary parking lot is safe – there is a CCTV system in place. At the end, we believe that all the readers here can judge from the photo that you have attached if this is a lovely sea view or something that can destroy a whole holiday? We do not have to agree on the way this entire experience went through, but since you and your partner have decided to tarnish our reputation on this site, we do not see any reason why we couldn’t provide all readers with our point of view and give them therewith an opportunity to make their own judgement on this case. We naturally do wish all the best to you and your loved ones and do hope that you will find a place where you will have a holiday experience to your liking. Sincerely, Marko Visković, BLUE Guide Manager

This was our second time back ,the last time being 4 years ago .Last time we came I wrote a review and it was the best hotel I’d been too but not this time .
The hotel is spotless and the location and decor is excellent too.
The thing that really let this hotel down for me was the food and customer service .At least twice we went to the buffet in the evening and couldn’t find anywhere to sit so went back to the bar and waited a while but when we went back there was hardly any food left,it doesn’t help that the buffet stops at 9 so by 830 nothing is replenished .
Some of the people serving the food aren’t very friendly I asked for chicken and was given a tiny piece and also with the carved meats you only get tiny bits .
I’m also shocked that you have to pay for water in your room ,its a five star hotel and I understand during the day you need to pay for it but I think a bottle of water in your room isn’t expecting too much .
Some of the staff I felt treated you like you was doing them a favour being there and were not welcoming which Is such a shame because last time we visited the staff made the hotel the best
We booked a day bed with service ,although the day bed is worth the money the food isn’t worth paying the extra for. The second time we booked the day bed we were told when we went to collect the keys that the housekeeping team didn’t want to make it up because the weather was due to be bad in the afternoon, which was annoying as we had planned our day around that,a quick call to our room would of helped but nobody told us ,and the annoying thing was the weather was lovely all day
I was really disappointed with the whole holiday and won’t be going back .

Dear Alison, we were all very sad to see that you were so disappointed with your second stay in our hotel. Although we were glad to discover that you have again found enjoyment in the cleanliness, location and décor of TUI BLUE Jadran, your dissatisfaction with the overall experience has made us worry. We have talked to our colleagues, made a few meetings and taken a couple of steps to ensure that we correct everything that has bothered you. We do hope that you will change your mind and revisit us in the future. Our whole team is certain that we can provide you with the same great holiday experience you’ve had in 2018. Kind regards, Marko Visković, BLUE Guide Manager

+1
Wonderful welcome from staff on arrival and the friendliness and great service continued throughout our 10 day stay. Our sea facing room and large balcony, rain fall shower, separate closet area and comfy king size bed. The room was cleaned to our standard everyday and toiletries and towels refreshed when required. A selection of food at breakfast and dinner buffets was very good with several fish, meat and vegetarian options. There were a few vegan options but I wouldn’t say the menu was vegan friendly. Good service during dinner, always a lovely selection of desserts to suit everyone’s pallet. The bar staff are friendly and efficient and there was a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails in the both hotel and beach bar. Pool area was comfortable and never issue of getting a sun lounger any time of the day. Semi private beach which also had plenty of sun loungers and the sea was beautifully clear and refreshing. It’s an easy walk into Tucepi with a good variety of bars and restaurants and there was nightly entertainment at the hotel with a relaxed vibe, wouldn’t hesitate to come again and would recommend it to anyone.
