This unit is suffering from owner neglect. When we arrived we found several light bulbs burned out, coffee grinder broken, hinge on bathroom vanity broken, floor dirty, living room TV picture with lines running through it, missing remote for bedroom TV, hole in screen door, DVD player unusable with no instructions on how to use it. We complained to the...

The Kona Reef Resort is a wonderful resort. The location is prime (you are less than 5 minutes from historic Kailua-Kona). The resort is reasonably small and staff and guests are extremely friendly. It is located right on the water and has a nice pool and hot tub. Every Monday morning the resort staff provide a complementary breakfast and invite...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in a one bedroom. Very well appointed. Great lanai with awesome view of ocean. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer combo. Would return and stay here again.

Great pool just beneath Condo E13 this 2nd floor condo. A great view of the boats, waves, and yes we saw whales doing their flipping and tales. The entry has an extremely safe and strong metal screen door with a strong lock. I talked with Radine the other day, it appears regular door had to be taken off when they...

When I opened the door, my jaw dropped and eyes immediately took in an incredible view of the pounding surf. I walked through the kitchen area into the living room and out a glass sliding door. I was on our patio and less than 20 feet from the beach. During our stay, we had our morning coffee and evening nightcap...

Our room was fine but nothing to write home about - broken screen door and a lack of pillows, but the property was great. Pool and views of the reef were awesome and it was a great place to watch the sunset. Easy walk to restaurants and shops!

We stayed in #d22, there could not be a more beautiful rooms, ocean view, wave sounds than any other places in Kona. The only problem we had was 1 week went by to quickly. Plus going through Abby rent customer service was best we have EVER had, and we have traveled the world.

My first visit to Kona was in 1995 and I stayed at the Castle Kona Reef condos. I loved it for these reasons: Location: Close to food, shopping and church (Living Stones) Condo: contained a fully stocked kitchen of utensils, pans, bowls, etc. I stayed in unit D35 this time. The washer/dryer unit was a plus. The evening balcony sunsets...

We booked a beach front apartment in june 2014. It was part of a timeshare individually owned group of apartments. Our view was superb. The amenities were to a high standard. It was a 2 bed roomed apartment with fully equpt kitchen and bathroom, laundry. The balcony looked out west to the pacific, so the sunsets were magical, along with...

We stayed there twice, each time with an ocean view. Close walk to town and our favorite divings shop: Jack's Dive Locker. We rented a car and from there, the whole island was accessible. We would definitely stay there again.
