We stayed here for a three-night trip. It turns out to be a wise decision. The hotel overall is excellent! The staff members are very friendly and would check with you whether they can be of help. The room is super clean and has great views to the ocean and the beach. That means, the hotel has walking distance to the ocean and beach! Also, it is walking distance to many good restaurants (I love Paradise which crosses the hotel, it has the best pasta!) and one fabulous shave ice store (Scandinavian Shave Ice). The hotel has east and west tower. We booked two rooms in the beginning and were assigned each room at each tower. I personally prefer west tower because the view seems better and more outlets available in the west tower room. However, the east tower room seems to be more spacious with a walk-in shower. The internet connection is not very good in my east tower room though. We in the end switched to another west tower room. Overall it’s a great hotel with excellent services and decent facilities! If you are browsing and deciding, just book it! You won’t be let down. …
We loved our stay at the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Kona. Loved the swimming pool area. There are a clean and nice pool and a hot tub. The sandy lagoon is located just outside the pool area. You can rent kayaks and sups as well. Our room was super clean, nice, smelled great, had a small and cozy patio with both mountain and ocean views. The room service was amazing, we asked multiple times for towels and water and got it all delivered to our room within 10-15 minutes. The hotel is located right by the street where all the restaurants are located. I would upgrade the bar/ restaurant menu to have healthier food options, but it didn't bother us to much as we had multiple food option available right around the corner.
Wonderful resort. Nice pool. Restaurant overlooking the beach. Small beach from where you can snorkel. Right next to the harbor which is a pickup point for some snorkel, sunset tours. Walk to plenty of restaurants and waterfront. Spacious, clean and well equipped rooms.
There are no words to describe what a beautiful gem this place is. Spent over three months working remote from several of the islands of Hawai'i. No other hotel made an impression as much as, Courtyard King Kamehameha. On day one I received a warm welcome from the entire staff and it continued through out my entire stay. Devin from the front desk stood out amongst all the others. Devin went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs. He rapidly resolved and addressed any issues and concerns I had. Devin truly made me feel at home. I can't wait to stay at this hotel again, I am already planning a return ^_^
Ok, I posted a review about Hilton Waikoloa Village which is the hotel I originally booked. We were unhappy and even debated on returning home early. But I looked at reviews and booked the Courtyard. From the first moment, check in was a breeze! I requested early check in and they texted me at 9:30 am that my room was ready. Very friendly staff. Resort fee and parking much more reasonable. 22 dollars for resort fee and 25 dollars for parking. At least, I felt that I got something for the resort fee. Our fridge was stocked with bottles of water, coupons for the coffee shop, and free drink at the pool restaurant and snorkeling gear since there is direct beach access. No room service and housekeeping is to be requested, I guess all the hotels in Hawaii are doing this due to covid. I am trying to get appointment in their spa so I will post separate review after I try them out. Convenient location, walking distance to lots of things. I'm really glad that I decided to change and come here.…
