Amenities could use some updating - décor is dated, bathroom average, bed small and not particularly comfortable. However, it's fairly convenient and mostly private when not busy. Good, large breakfasts. Communal kitchen was handy as it has a large fridge to store groceries. Microwave and barbecue for cooking. The Innkeeper is arrogant and his wife appears downtrodden. It was uncomfortable...

Over-rated,over-priced and under-handed. If you choose to stay here, be aware your credit info may be misused. Our account was charged for a farm "tour" without our knowledge or approval. We already had enough education regarding coffee growing/processing , received free of charge at other Hawaiin farms before our stay here. Check Booking.com reviews of Mango as well for more...

We stayed at the Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast Inn at Lyman Kona Coffee Farm for 5 days from Jan 18th - 23rd, 2017. It is a very peaceful place, close to Kona Airport and Hwy. Clean and tranquil. Hostes Hans and Masha are very friendly and helpful. Their provide good choice of home made breakfast every morning at their...

For $25 per person, Hans (age 73) imparted a considerable amount of information regarding both his personal history and the history of coffee growing and processing on and off Hawaii. He was articulate, detailed, and open to questions at the end of each segment of his presentation. Be prepared to sit and listen for a few hours. Due to physical...

In four words, "our stay was OK" at best, but nothing to write home about. I thought it was odd that there were so many "rules" for our stay. Even the reservation confirmation has a dozen or so rules with which you must comply. Everything just seemed so rigid, for example in the information sent to us, we are offered...

This Accommodation was a unique type of B & B; a working Coffee Farm. My husband is a very outdoors sort of person so I knew that he would not enjoy hotels on our trip. So I carefully selected Bed and Breakfast type accommodation. We travelled extensively on this trip to Canada and the US. This particular B & B...

The owner Hans and Martha were very welcoming full of tons of knowledge about their Farm and about the island in general. I read up about this place before my stay here and I read all the good reviews as well as the bad. I feel like the good reviews come from guests who came with an open mind and...

We enjoyed our stay at Mango Sunset B & B. The access road was a challenge to find the first time. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Every evening the sunset view over the ocean was priceless. Highly recommend for an affordable stay.

We got off to a rocky start, because this place is not easy to find, and the twin driveways defy logical navigation. Once we got there, we were charmed. Our room was comfortable, and the sliding door opened to a stone patio with a stellar view down the mountain to the coast. We slept with the door open and the...

We had a difficult time speaking with the B&B. Called to advise them of late arrival and they said they had no reservation for us. We booked through Expedia and called them & they said reservation was confirmed. Left 2 more voice mail messages at B&B with request for them to return our call but they never did. According to...

The Guest called me on the day of the alleged reservation in the morning, but I was sold out -- sorry, I did not get your reservation from Expedia. This online reservation system is not always reliable, and I have spent countless hours on the phone with them, trying to iron out differences -- but all of those were well...
