Back in January, we stayed here for 4 night for our Honeymoon. Daniel and Robert were so welcoming and full of useful knowledge. Their suggestion for dinner Jackie Ray's, certainly part of the highlight of the holiday. The breakfast, was out of this world. Amazing! No need to eat for the rest of the day. The location was beautiful and very scenic with was only matched by the top quality rooms. We hope to stay again.

Property's Favorite Review
We spent two nights on the front and back end of our condo vacation. This B and B is located high above Kona-Kailua in the hills and has a fabulous view of the coastline. It is cool and quiet up here. There are four spacious suites. We had Suite #4, probably the most private as it is on the end. The Suite was immaculately clean and beautifully and tastefully decorated. There was a complimentary minibar, snacks and fruit available in the room. The breakfasts prepared by Daniel and Robert were sublime--fresh, healthy and filling! No lunch needed after these breakfasts! Their coffee was the BEST! Best of all are the two warm and welcoming hosts, Robert and Daniel. They gave us great suggestions for dinner. This is a B & B, but unlike some, as a guest you can maintain a lot of independence and privacy. Some may think the rates are pricey, but being knowledgeable about the hotels on the Big Island, you won't find a better value for what you get, in my opinion. The breakfast alone is worth $100/2 and included in the rates. We really loved Ohi'a Park Estate, and look forward to returning.

Thank you so much for your outstanding review and the time you took to write it! You really mentioned everything that sets us apart from other BNB's. To us it's all about quality and design whether it comes to furniture, bedding or food and of course the best coffee ever! It makes us happy that you felt comfortable and private in Suite #4 and you could enjoy our daily and lavish breakfast and didn't have to starve during the day. A very special thanks for taking your time to explain our rates. You're absolutely right, on the first sight we may be pricy but as you mentioned, for our breakfast you would easily been charged at least $ 50/person. And the best of all, our rates are final you don't have any additional costs like resort-, parking- or WIFI-fees and the breakfast is included as well. Thank you again for having been our guests and we look forward to welcoming you again! "Mahalo nui" and a big "Aloha!" Daniel and Robert

It is absolutely pristine; decorated lovely, very comfortable, quiet and the hosts are very accommodating. They provide a wonderful breakfast with a wide, and generous variety. We recently stayed 5 nights at this lovely B&B and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our room (Room 4) was well appointed and very comfortable. The standard of cleanliness was excellent both for our room and throughout the property. Hosts Daniel and Robert were welcoming and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast each day was fantastic, and the gecko's that joined us were an added bonus! Also the information provided for possible day trips was great, providing local knowledge that made planning our excursions so easy. Our trip was cut short because of the COVID-19 pandemic but we hope to return as soon as we can and will definitely stay here again.

Many thanks for your extraordinary review and of course for recommending us so strongly! As you know, booking with us means also dealing with Swiss owners and they are extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and this inside the property as well as outside, sorry it's in our genes! We're so glad that we could make your stay with us as pleasant as possible and that Roberts suggestions for your daily trips were helpful and made your excursions more relaxed. Again, we feel so sorry for you that you had to shorten your trip because of the virus but it was wise to leave the island immediately. We're looking forward to welcoming you again as soon as the world is safe again! Thank you again for having been such sweet guests and please stay safe and healthy! "Mahlo nui" and a warm "Aloha!" Daniel and Robert

We were so glad to book with Ohi'a Estate! Since we live on a budget, we were wondering if the EXTRAS were really important. The extras are what set this Bed and Breakfast apart from the rest. We experienced four course breakfasts which filled us up so we didn't eat but a nice dinner in the evening. Daily room treats of chocolate covered macadamia nuts, dates, fruit, and bottled water were waiting each night when we returned from our day with chocolates on our pillows. Every day they also filled our refrigerator with diet Coke, fruit juices, sparkling water, candy bars, and potato chips....all complimentary!! There was a coffee pot and coffee included in each room. When we arrived, there was a lovely fresh bouquet of flowers on the coffee table. Take the advice they give for where to eat and what to do. They are dead on for excellence in that field. There is no air conditioning but did not feel would have ever used it. If you love nature noises at night, you will love this place. Frogs and birds sing all night. We brought ear plugs but did not have to use. We closed the windows. Robert and Daniel are super friendly! They go out of their way in making your stay the best it can possibly be. We hope we can come back again. We usually stay at a hotel on the beach but enjoyed this much more!!! This is a very safe community with a gated driveway. A few suggestions that are a must when on the Big Island. Snorkeling excursion to Captain Cook Monument, visiting the Volcano area especially the lava flow over the road near Pahoa, snorkeling Honaunua Bay(Two Step) and Kahalu'u Beach, which are both free and easy access. I would recommend a car because there is so much to see and do!! Free parking.

Wow, what a sweet headline! Thank you very much for your outstanding review. Well, you're right, the "extras" always could be a real surprise at the end of your stay and often enough they are as high as the basic room rate on your bill. We don't agree with this policy and therefore we only charge you with our final rate plus taxes published on our website or any other travel website. Even our daily fresh fruit plate, sweets and treats, softdrinks and so on are all complimentary. On our website we're mentioning that we love to pamper our guests which also means we love to spoil our guests, be it with a healthy, organic breakfast, suggestions for what to do during the day or simply offering a suite which makes you feel "home away from home". That all probably is the key why we reached in January 2019 place #1 out of 155 BNB according to TripAdvisor. Thank you again for having been such wonderful guests and we definitely looking forward to welcoming you again! Please stay safe and healthy in this difficult times! "Mahal nui" and a warm "Aloha!" Daniel and Robert
