Just spent my honeymoon at this lovely place. The people were lovely. The room looked over the pool and the ocean. Enjoyed the free travel using the trolley going to town. The power on the land went out. The emergency power was on. The staff updated us the whole time when the power was put back on the kitchen was... More

We were staying whilst attending a wedding with many other people from Australia. For such a fantastic setting the halls and rooms are really letting it down. Yes the architecture is classic 1970's or 1980's but you can overlook that if everything else is up to date. The foyer/reception area is quite modern which leads to high expectations when you... It's hard for me to write this review, because I REALLY wanted to like this place. It is a beautiful property in a great location, with excellent swimming areas. It also provides an excellent breakfast buffet. And I would give it a 5-star rating on those items. However, the service and interactions with some of the staff are far below... More

Our first visit to Hawaii and our first port of call was to stay in the Big Island. Four very excited Aussies and we weren't disappointed!! As described in most TA reviews, this resort- like all of the affordable accommodations within Hawaii - is old BUT it's was incredible. The rooms were large and extremely clean. Terrific huge balconies and... More

It was a last minute booking to give my granddaughters a treat. The room was overlooking the golf course and the ocean was there for us to see on the right. We were directly upstairs from the pool area. Big king size bed. Beautiful ! Employees were all "AWESOME" a big shout out to Jessica, Mike and Sarah by the... More

While I appreciate that this is one of the best hotels in Kona it really is in need of a refurbishment. Everything is very tired and old. I was expecting way more for a Sheraton and so was very disappointed by my experience. The bed was really nice and comfortable but I would definitely not stay here again.

The room we had had a wonderful view overlooking the bay. That's about as good as it gets with this hotel. It has been left in the 1980s. It requires a serious renovation to bring it up to speed. It almost has a ghost town feel about it. The service poolside was poor with plate loads of dirty dishes and... More

Every employee we encounter exemplified the true meaning of the aloha spirit. Michael at the front desk made it possible for us to check in early with a room near the elevator due to my legs being in braces, the bellmen even offered me to push me in the wheelchair, housekeeping brought us the rollaway bed in a timely manner,... We only stayed one night but from the first interaction with the bellman and the front desk was like top notch but Tanya at the pool was the best cause she seen my husband struggling so called downstairs and told them to bring him a chair so he can have a better seat to sit on being that he is...
