Once you've touched down in the paradise that is the Kona coast, pretty much everywhere you go is better than where you just came from. The Holua Resort was a little difficult to find when we arrived at night, a navigator is useful to find it the first time and after that it is easy. My Navi had the actual... More

Unexpected delight to have found the Holua Resort (which I booked due to reviews on TripAdvisor). The 2 bedroom condominium/townhouse we stayed at is spacious - so much more than any regular hotel. It's close to the beaches, view of the golf course, and close to food/shopping. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare your own... More

I can't give less than 5 stars for this resort, which resembles more a condo indeed. Despite this property doesn't have access to the beach, it is very conveniently situated in the Kona coast, next to Keauhou bay (manta ray dives), and with easy access to Kealakekua Bay and Pu'uhonau o Honaunau National Park. The accommodations are huge and beautifully... More

Staying at the Holua Resort with our two children, was a perfect place to spend a week in paradise. We had a 2 bedroom suite. Both bedrooms were on the bottom floor and were very spacious with TVs in both rooms. Each room had an adjoining bathroom with a full tub and shower and there was also a stackable washer... More

A family with two teenage kids, a condo like Holua offers is perfect, offering plenty of room and good kitchen facilities. The Resort is close to local shopping centers but is outside the hectic main drag of Kona, so you need a car. The pools are a little basic for proper 'lazing by the...' but it didnt matter to us... Great 12 days at the Holua Resort in a 2 bedroom apartment. Third time to Hawaii and this was the best. Excellant service, great rooms, clean, well maintained. Highly recommended for value and general all round service quality and friendly staff, will be back.

The resort is well situated just south of Kona and a nearby drive to the airport, shopping, restaurants, and a beach or two. The staff was extremely accommodating in allowing early check in, luggage help and storage, extended check out, airline boarding passes, Island info, etc. The accommodations were very clean, well stocked with linens, kitchenware, comfortable (each BR had... I loved this place. Great 1 bedroom for 99/night! We stayed 7 nights and didn't have any problems at all. Room was very spacious and had well-thought out amenities. Don't play tennis but the courts looked well kept. We had an upstairs room and I don't think I would have wanted a downstairs room because I could tell that the... More

We stayed for 4 nights - Property is very nice and well maintained. The unit we had on bottom floor was very large 1 bedroom and very well equipped and clean. We had very enjoyable stay - only minor issue was noise from upstairs unit probably pretty typical of any condo when you have upstairs neighbors ( mainly sounds like... More
