We came here through a Marriott timeshare trade for a 1 week stay. This place is dated and they need to refresh the units. Furniture is old and dirty, bed so so, kitchen stove is an antique (mechanical digital clock, right out of 1960), unit style is 30 -40 years old. Closet door comes off track, hole in wall, showers...

We stayed in Phase 1 of the Kona Coast. As a Shell owner I was hoping for Phase 2 (as promised by my timeshare saleswoman-shocker), but Phase 1 (the older units) was great! A HUGE condo with equally HUGE lanai, it was a great place. Clean, quiet, updated and well appointed. Pool is great, with a restaurant overlooking it. Views...

Stayed here for a week on a condo exchange and we had a great time. We didn't spend a lot of time at the resort as we were out exploring most of the time, but it did work well for us. A couple things that might be of interest: - We just rented snorkel gear at the resort. It was...

We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed 2 days in unit 9-101. It is a big unit, clean, big terrace, air conditioning, dish washer, washing machine, parking, free internet, closed to any facilities....anything you need to accommodate your vacation. We did not like Maui, we were unhappy in Honolulu (Hilton village - Rainbow tower), we did not appreciate Hilo side, but...

DON'T STAY HERE IF VIEW MATTERS!! As a Shell owner I am very disappointed. I was flexible with my vacation dates so that I could get an ocean view room, as advised by guy that did my reservation. The condo is very nice, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, great kitchen, washer and dryer in our unit. Decorated very nicely, bed is...

We just returned from 10 days in Hawaii, a week of it at the Kona Coast Resort. We had been to Waikiki and Maui before, this was our first trip to the Big Island. The resort is beautiful, the employees work very hard to make it look nice! We were in building 12-101 on the ground floor right by the...

Good place to exchange for timeshare members. Excellent for relaxation. The room is spacious and clean. The grocery store is by walking distance and the BBQ grills are outsude easy to use. The staff is friendly. I will definitely come back.

Absolutely beautiful! The online photos don't do justice. The swimming pools are a great asset. The views and the grounds and staff superior. We walked to grocery store and a GREAT snorkel spot. We couldn't have wanted more.....except more vacation days.

We just got back from a week at this resort. Our condo was very nice, lots of room, and was in a good location in the complex. The absolute highlight of this place is the restaurant by the pool! It was a nice surprise to eat at a hotel restaurant that was really good. One of the owners smokes the...

My husband and I travelled here in May 2010. We paid about $2700 with Hotwire for 9 days (flight from Buffalo, rental car, condo). This was our first time to Hawaii and certainly not our last. The resort was great, the rooms were beautifully furnished and it was very clean. We requested a third floor for the cathedral ceilings. It...
