The two nights my husband and I stayed at the Hawaiian Oasis were a highlight of our trip. The inn keepers, Maye and Tom, were so welcoming, and we immediately felt at home in this tastefully furnished and immaculately kept property. It was delightful to luxuriate in the beautiful Waterfall Suite and unwind in the hot tub and pool surrounded... More

My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks - and it could not have been more perfect. We came from all over the country to be together, and this home, the inn keepers Maye & Tom - as well as owners Peter & Darla are truly one of a kind. Aside the 14 whom stayed on property, We also... More

This is my second time staying at the Hawaiian Oasis and I was so happy to see Tom and Maye were still there running the place. This B&B is a destination in itself. It was such a nice place to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. The breakfast that are served are delicious and filling(stuffed french... More

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Hawaiian Oasis two years in a row. Last year as a VRBO with the extended family and this year we stayed in the Ohana Suite as B&B guests. Each stay was wonderful and unique. The grounds are beautifully kept and the breakfasts are delicious. Tom and Maye go all out making... More

This quiet oasis is located in the hills above Kona amongst secluded lush foliage. You can enjoy the sounds and sights of the tropics while lounging by the pool or on the verandas or on your own private courtyard. The pool area has a fully stocked outside kitchen and bar where you can cook other meals if you desire. There... More

We stayed in the Garden Suite while we were at the Oaisis as a bed and breakfast guest. May makes a killer breakfast and Tom makes beautiful fruit platters. He also clearly does a lot of work around the property. I figured they hired a professional gardener but I saw him and May working outside quite a few times while... More

We had such a good time at Hawaiian Oasis! We stayed there 5 nights during our trip on Big Island, and it is our best experience at a B&B. May and Tom have been really welcoming and very helpful. First, as we were the only clients during the week, we have been upgraded to the waterfall suite, wich was big... More

We were informed the day before we arrived that an extended family had rented the entire house and that we would not be staying there, but in a separate building (the Garden Suite) where the innkeepers themselves live. We never got to even see the inside of the "nice" house. On top of that, we were also informed that we... More

Ironman week in Kona is the busiest time of the year and the Oasis usually books as an estate rental to a group far in advance, as was the case this year. The group did not need one of the suites, however, so a booking was accepted from this guest for a 1 night stay. He was advised that this... More

We reserved the entire Hawaiian Oasis for two families over Thanksgiving 2015. There were two couples, 3 older girls who each required their own rooms, and 3 adolescent boys who could care less where they slept -- 10 people in total, and we had plenty of space for everyone. My husband and I slept in the upstairs master bedroom, which... More
