We enjoyed our stay at Hale Kona Kai #205. We were greeted by turtles right below our lanai. The place was clean and well appointed. Its location was perfect for walking to nearby shops and restaurants. We would stay there again.

All of the replies are accurate. However, it is important that you know there are no lifeguards on most of the beaches and the waves and surges can be very difficult for a beginning or younger swimmer.
